Weird. I decided to walk into town to search for jobs just after my brother and sister left to go do the shopping. On the way, some old lady started to talk to me, telling me that "the weather is nice, isn't it?" (sarcastically since it's been raining). I agreed, and she said "They say it's rain for the duck.". I didn't understand that at first, so said "Pardon?", and she repeated it. Not knowing what the hell that really meant, I just said "Yeah.". She then asked if I was going to work, and I told her I wasn't, but am going into town to search for jobs, then proceeded to say bye to her because continuing into town. What I would like to know was...who was this old lady? I didn't recognize her at all. Possibly could have been someone who has ordered Betterware things from me in the past, but it isn't someone who does it a lot because if it were, I would have recognized her. Odd.
As usual, I didn't locate a single job in town. I still haven't heard anything at all from the two places I sent a C.V. to. There's a third holiday site that is supposedly advertising for staff - Looe Bay. I'll have to get a lift from Mom to go there soon and have a look, see if they really are. It stinks that jobs are so hard to find now.
