Ohio Dairy Farm - How disgusting

I am totally disgusted by the treatment of the animals at Ohio Dairy Farm. How did I find out about this? From a friend's Facebook page.

This is mother fucking horrible!!!! Www.mercyforanimals.org/ohdairy/

This is what she'd posted as her status. So, just be warned, if you are an animal lover, you may not want to see the Ohio Dairy Farm Investigation. It's really upsetting. It made my friend cry when she watched it, and it made me feel depressed. It's that sad. I don't see how people can treat animals like this.

25 reasons to date a gamer!

I just noticed that my new friend, Kristie, joined a group on Facebook called 25 reasons to date a gamer! Since I find the list funny, I'm going to share it here!

Dennis Hopper dead at 74

Yet another celebrity has been taken by Death. This time it was Dennis Hopper who died on the 29th May, 2010 at 8:15.

Yet again, I found out about this from the Foamy fan page on Facebook.

Who is next on Death's list?

Some funny songs

There isn't going to be a lot to this post. I mainly just wanted to share some funny songs.

I will probably update this list at some time, so check back if you'd like more.

2010:A bad year to be famous

It appears that 2010 hasn't been a good year at all for celebrities. So far, there have been four deaths. Pete Steele, Dio, Paul Gray, and most recently, Gary Coleman, who died yesterday.

Gary Coleman, the actor who as a child star of the television comedy “Diff’rent Strokes” made “What’choo talkin ’bout, Willis?” a catchphrase of the 1980s, has died. He was 42.

The death was reported by CBS News, citing the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, where Mr. Coleman had been hospitalized after an injury.

A diminutive actor who stood at 4 feet eight inches, Mr. Coleman became a star at age 10 for his role on “Diff’rent Strokes.” The show, which had its debut in 1978, cast him as Arnold Jackson, the younger of two children adopted by the millionaire Philip Drummond (played by Conrad Bain). The show ran for eight years on NBC and ABC.

In 1989, Mr. Coleman sued his adopted parents for mismanaging the money he made on the show and won a settlement, but later filed for bankruptcy. He continued to appear in brief film and television roles, often as himself, and often poking fun at his grownup struggles.

This quote was taken from the ArtsBeat.

Since bad news/luck comes in threes, then which two celebrities are next on Deaths list for 2010?

Personally, I didn't find out about these deaths from the news. I've read about them on the Facebook fan page for Foamy the Squirrel. So, there could be some more celeb deaths that happened in 2010 that I didn't read about. I only know about these four at the moment.

If anyone knows of any other well-known celebrity deaths, please share. Also, feel free to share thought on which well-known celebrity may be next on Death's list, and please be serious! I've seen some of the comments on the Foamy fan page. A lot of people have just been posting who they WANT dead, such as Simon Cowell, and Paris Hilton. I don't really want to know peoples' wishes. To be honest, that type of thing is heartless. No-one should wish death upon someone.

There are loads of celebrities that people may hate; I know I hate a few. But, you shouldn't wish death upon them. If you think about it, there could be people who hate you, and are wishing death upon you. How would you feel?

It's starting...

The weather is already starting to get worse. When I was out delivering Betterware items earlier, one old lady I usually deliver something to every month told me that the weather is starting to look bad. I have to agree. Sure, it was sunny outside, but it wasn't as warm as it has been the past few days. It was windy out, making it cool. I don't mind this, but I get the feeling it's going to get worse. In about 12 hours, I'm going to find out if the weather will turn very dull. If so, Rowland's Fun Fair is definitely cursed. There's only been one year it hasn't been miserable.

There was one Betterware item I delivered that may have been damaged, although I'm not 100% sure on that. It was a butterfly-shaped mirror. When the lady opened her door, I noticed what appeared to be a crack in it, but I'm not sure if it was. It could've just been the way the plastic wrapping was. I'm sure if it was cracked, she'll find a way to contact me.

I just had the weirdest conversation with my Mom's boyfriend, Sean. He was talking about taking us all out for lunch next Friday (4th June), and was calling me the "man of the house" and such. Me? The man of the house? I've never looked at myself as that. I've always just felt like the worthless eldest son. Then again, I just feel worthless, full stop. One surprise I got out of the conversation was that he and Mom have been dating for about two years. Two years! I didn't even know that. I always thought it was a recent thing...not two years!

Death Trades

After reading the status updates for the Foamy The Squirrel : iLL WiLL PrEss fan page on Facebook, I got to wondering what would be worth trading to Death in exchange for certain things.

Rowland's Cursed Fun Fair

I remember that a couple of days back, when I was talking to grandfather in the morning, he told me that the nice weather we’re having should last a few days. For Looe, I guess that few days ends on the 27th May. This is the day when Rowland’s Fun Fair will be opening in Looe over in the Millpool Car-park. It seems like whenever they’re in town, the weather, no matter how nice it’s been, suddenly changes and becomes cold and wet. It’s a cursed fun fair!

I have no idea if this kind of weather follows this fair around, or if the weather is just like that because it needs to be nice to really enjoy the rides, and in a typical fashion, turns out to be miserable so that they get less customers. However, saying the latter out loud, you could say that if that was the reason it always turned miserable, then it would be a curse. Haha. If it happens again this year, then I don’t think we’ll see the sun and the warmth again until the 4th of June, since that is when the fun fair is leaving according to the signs scattered around.

Job search - One job found

Yesterday, I ended up walking into town twice. The first time, I was merely wandering the streets again, looking like a lost tourist again, searching for any signs of jobs going. I did manage to find one, although it was only advertising for summer staff. I went in to get a form, then proceeded to walk home. After filling the form out (and having no idea what to put down for hours to work), I waited around for a couple of hours for Mom, hoping that she could give me a ride into town so I could hand the form into the store. In the end, I gave up waiting and walked into town again, and handed in the form, then walked all the way home again.

This was really the kind of day that I didn't want to do this on. It was hot, and walking up hill on hot days isn't all that nice. I have no idea if I will actually get the job. If the manager of the store is the same one that worked there last time I had a job in that store, back in early 2000, I wouldn't get my hopes up if she remembers me and the problem I had back then.

Pet cat is shot dead

More Animal Cruelty news, this time taken from the Cornish Times.

THE owner of a cat shot with an airgun is appealing for information about the death of her pet.
Beryl Kitto, who lives in the Woodgate Road area of Liskeard, found her three-year-old cat, Kitty, lying dead in her neighbour's drive.
She said: 'When I came back from walking my dog I found her on my neighbour's drive.
'I turned her over and saw there was a hole.
'This is deliberate. I am shocked. How could someone do this?'
Ms Kitto took Kitty to a vet in Liskeard, but nothing could be done to save the cat. It isn't the first time the town has seen an incident of this nature.
Last year Luxstowe Vets, Liskeard, dealt with several incidents of cats being shot.
Lydie Houre-Van Riet from Luxstowe Vets said: 'Gunshot wounds in cats are too frequent an occurence.
'We spend our lives trying to make animals better, having to deal with deliberate injuries to animals is always upsetting.
'I cannot express enough how distressing this mindless violence is, not just for the injured animals and their owners, but for everyone involved with the care of these patients.'

Tagged Pets

This website is going to be a major pain for me, I can tell. On Tagged, I had purchased a lot of “Pets”, and then realized the mistake I had made when I saw that a lot of the people I had purchased as Pets hadn’t logged on since 2008. Now I can understand why no-one had bought these people as Pets. You can set Pets free, however, to do this, you have to click each Pets name, go to their page, and then click “Set Pet Free”. Doing this for over 170 Pets is slow and tedious. Instead of doing that, I decided to cancel my Tagged account and re-register with the website. However, they’re not going to allow me to use my usual e-mail address it seems, even though their page says you may re-register the same e-mail if your account is canceled.

I then read that they keep your data on their servers for six months. Does this mean that I have to wait six months before I am allowed to use my usual e-mail address there again? I decided to use another one of my e-mail accounts for now. Hopefully within six months I’ll be able to swap my e-mail address back to my regular e-mail. I really hate using e-mail accounts I rarely check. Let me use my G-mail!

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

This is one game I don't think I'm going to be able to play due to it being download only. It's really a pain in the ass when there is a game that you're interested in taking a look at, but can't because of a lack of memory on whatever console you may be using. I have an XBox 360 that I would download the game on, but the hard drive on it is under 300 megabytes. I think the only way I would be able to get this game is to get an external hard drive for the XBox. I wish I could afford that. I hope that the next Tomb Raider game is on CD. I know that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn't an official Tomb Raider game and is more of a spin off, but I would like to play it and wish it were released on a CD.

Bizarre Death of Dio

I was going to post about this sooner, but I just didn't really know what to say. I will admit that I didn't really know anything about the guy. I didn't even know who he was until I read about his hoaxed death somewhere when I was surfing the Internet very early Sunday morning. I didn't read the article, but I just know that a few hours before he really died, someone decided to post on Wikipedia that he had died. I saw the title, and just thought to myself "Typical..." since it was a Wikipedia hoax. Anyone can edit articles there. There is always going to be some idiot who messes around and puts something stupid.

Several hours later, after I went to bed and got some sleep, I logged into Facebook to see that a fan page I'd become a fan of, Foamy the Squirrel: iLL WiLL PrEss, had posted a status about his death being confirmed. That he actually died at 7:45 Sunday morning. That was extremely strange to me. It appears that the creator of the Foamy toons found it bizarre too. Who wouldn't if they had read that his death was a hoax, and then a few hours later he really DID die.

I can't recall from memory of anything like this happening before. Although, I am curious now. Have there ever been any hoaxed deaths before where the person really did die several hours after it was hoaxed? I'd really like to know. If anyone knows of any, please, let me know. I'd like to read about them.

As a tribute to the guy, two Tenacious D songs.
Dio - Dio appears at the start. The song is about Dio.
Kickapoo - From the movie Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. Dio appears in this song (as well as Meatloaf).

Edit: I found the page I saw that said his death was hoaxed. It has been updated since it was written to state that the hoax became a sad reality.

Two Dogs?

It appears that we may now be having two dogs instead of just one. A couple of weeks ago, due to the guy my Mom is seeing, Sean, living here, we got a new puppy which is a mix breed, although I'm not entirely sure what kind of a mix it is. I know part is Jack Russel, but that's as much as I know. He was given the puppy by his brother because his brother owes him quite a bit of money. The dog is the payback to Sean. The dog appears to be worth quite a bit of money because he wanted to show it off in the bar he works in, and people were offering him £600 and more to buy it from him. He didn't sell it though.

As for dog two, he's been known to the family for a while. Originally, he was owned by my aunt and uncle, but since they moved abroad, they couldn't take the dog with them, so it was given to someone they know. Lately though, that friend hasn't had much time for the dog due to being swamped with work, as well as other things, so she was asking Mom if she would take him in. Jill (I think that's her name) was coming to collect him yesterday, and I had to tell her that we would keep him, if she'd like. She said that she would miss him if he stayed here, and after a little bit of talking, said that she would leave him with us for another two weeks to see how things will work out.

It's sad. She seemed a little upset to be letting him go, and didn't appear to be sure if she really wanted to. I suppose she will if he enjoys it here and if we're completely happy to keep him because she doesn't appear to have the time she needs to look after him. He was quite big when he came to us a week ago, but lost a bit of weight because we could exercise him, something she hasn't been able to do, due to her job.

45 Life Lessons

I can't remember where I read these.

This was supposedly written by a lady called Regina Brett...so I'm just going to say it's © to her. I never wrote any of it. It just sounded like good advice.

So many games I should play

I've got a bunch of games I really need to work on completing. So, why come here and talk about it when I could be off playing them? Mostly because I'm waiting to see if a friend is going to talk to me today. She hasn't said a word to me since falling asleep on Thursday. I did wake up to a text from her asking "U on?", but I've had nothing since. I'm getting a little worried because I really have no idea if she's ok, or if she's just ignoring me for some reason I don't know about. There haven't been any status updates on her Twitter or Facebook account either, which make the worrying overpower the "Is she ignoring me?" thoughts.

(The list of games below is very incomplete as I have no lighting in my bedroom and cannot make out titles. Please check back for more titles later.)

YouCanGetMe for a fool

As I was looking back at past entries I've made here, I looked at the last entry I made about dating websites and remembered a point I really wanted to bring up about a dating website called YouCanGetMe. I signed up to it, as well as a couple of others, such as Plentyoffish and OkCupid. The problem I encountered with YouCanGetMe was regarding the free sign up. Originally when I signed up, I was expecting it to be a lot like its free rivals. To my disappointment, it wasn't.

Times gone by

You can find the past creeping it's way into your mind a lot at certain times. It happens to me when I'm generally bored, and don't feel in the mood to entertain myself with a movie or a video game. I would be talking to some of my friends on Yahoo!, but currently no-one is on. Actually, I should say no-one is talking to me. There are a couple of friends online, however, they're idle or appear to be otherwise busy.

I miss the days when Yahoo! had user generated rooms that you could randomly wander into and meet people with similar interests to you. It was a good way to make new friends and share thoughts and opinions about your interests with. However, you could always count on some perverted people in the world to ruin it for everyone by creating rooms that should never really be allowed. Thanks to those people, we no longer have the user generated rooms.

Fast forward a couple of years. You're still online, alone. As for all your friends? They've all moved on. They have families, jobs, relationships and homes of their own. Where are you? You're sat jobless, lonely, no place of your own. You find yourself majorly envying all of your school friends, college friends, as well as your Internet friends. What happened in your life to bring it to a major halt? I wish I could really answer that honestly.

It's been several years since I've had an actual job. I lost my last one due to...medical problems. I've got to admit that was embarrassing. It wasn't anything extreme, but for some reason I kept needing to run to the bathroom to pee. I wasn't ever drinking a lot, so I can't understand why I needed to. It's understandable that I would lose that job though. Working as a cashier in a store, it's not very good to have to leave the checkout every few minutes, especially if it's a busy time in the store. Can't be helped though.

Perfect...

Great...I just found out from my sister that Mom and her boyfriend, Sean, are planning on going on a holiday sometime soon. This means that those of us who are left behind are going to have to do the paper deliveries that she usually does. How kind of her. Later I'll have to ask WHEN she's going, and how long she's going to be gone for so that I know how long I'm going to have to do the paper deliveries for.

Also, I'm pretty sure that for a few days, I'm going to have to do them due to the car insurance people coming to collect the courtesy car today. It means that she won't have a car for a while, so she'll have to walk around the longest round she does, and I'm going to have to do Sunrising for a while. It's lucky that I got a little bit of sleep today and didn't have to do the paper deliveries, else I most likely would've been awake for about 38 hours. Ouch. The reason behind that is that on Tuesdays I go and collect Betterware catalogs that I usually deliver on Saturday or Sunday (mostly).

I'm not too sure how I'm going to do them when Mom and Sean go on holiday since I won't have a day free from paper deliveries to do them like I usually do. It's going to need some planning if the area I deliver them to isn't Sunrising when they leave. I know I could probably do them later in the day, but the thing is, I like to do them early in the morning. This way, I can avoid people constantly calling me back as soon as I reach the end of the driveway to say that they don't want the catalog. It's a pain in the ass when I have to walk all the way back down the driveway, collect it from the person, then walk all the way back to the end of the driveway. No-one ever makes it easy for you by coming to the end of the driveway to hand it to you. Sure, it's more exercise for you, but you really don't want to be doing it when you have many more houses to deliver to.
