Metal Gear Confusion 4 (MGS4 Spoilers...maybe)

Ok, I'm confused by one event I saw of MGS4 on YouTube. I was looking for sad moments from the Metal Gear Solid series when I came across one video of MGS4. Snake finds himself in a graveyard, talking to Big Boss who is dying. Now, I've never played the old Metal Gear games (the ones BEFORE Metal Gear Solid started), but I thought that Snake had to kill Big Boss in one of those games. So, how is he still alive? Did I mishear about Big Boss being killed in one of the old games, or are they totally ignoring the old games? Can anyone clear this up for me?

Blue Reef Aquarium - Newquay

I've only just returned home from the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay. It wasn't as great as I was expecting to be honest. In fact, it was small. It was a lot smaller than the aquarium in Plymouth. I was a little disappointed by that because I was expecting something a lot bigger than the one in Plymouth. What a let down. I was in a bit of a rush when we were leaving to go there, so I didn't get to take any pictures of any of the creatures.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

I actually got to go to Plymouth today, and was trying to find a copy of Disgaea:Hour of Darkness for the PS2 (or Disgaea:Afternoon of Darkness for the PSP). But, I couldn't find a copy of it anywhere. I guess my only hope of getting the game now would be to buy it off of Amazon.

Never ask

I think I should just never ask for anything when it comes to doing what I want to do. Why? Because it just never seems to happen. I asked Mom earlier today (about 5:30am) if we could go to Plymouth, and she said we could if I helped her out with one of the paper rounds she has to do. So, I did that, but in the end, it was pointless because she's now refusing to go.

I have no idea why, but she's really pissed off. I'm wondering why it only happens to me. I mean, if someone else had asked her, they'd go and do it and there would be no argument about it. I'd get asked if I want to go too, and usually I'll say no because I'm too tired or I have no reason to go. Yet, when I want to go, it always ends the same way. Mom will get pissed off about something and we're not going anymore.

I'm sure tomorrow, Mom will refuse to take me out to the mini-golf place to ask about whether I can work there on the weekends. If that ends up being a yes, then I'll never be able to go to Plymouth again because Mom will usually only go there on the weekends and I'd be working then. Fuck. I'm just going to have to go to the bank tomorrow too and see if I can get myself a new bank card, and then order the game I'm looking for (Disgaea: Hour of Darkness) off of Amazon.

Job?

I still have no idea whether I'll be able to work out at this mini-golf place on the weekends yet. I never got out there in time to ask today. I did manage to deliver all of the Betterware orders today though. I had a little bit of a laugh when delivering the one to my grandfather. He was asleep. I'd rang his door bell twice and didn't get any answer, so I went around to the back door and let myself him. I found him sleeping in the lounge. Gran started laughing when she saw me enter, and I tapped grandfather on the leg to wake him up.

Nothing interesting really happened today though. I just did that, came home, and started playing Zelda while waiting for my friends to come online.

I'll have to try the mini-golf place again on Monday since no-one is working there on the weekends anymore, which is why I wanted to see if it were possible for me to run the place on the weekend.

Stolen business

I was told on Saturday by some old lady that there was another guy, an older man, delivering Betterware catalogs around her area. I guess that would explain why I'm getting less items ordered from people than I use to. But, who is it? Surely Neil isn't taking my areas. I'm going to have to talk to him on Tuesday about it. I'm sure I'll get an answer like "I have no idea.", in which case, I'll have to assume it's him because he must know who is delivering and where. The lady who told me about it said that she didn't want the catalogs delivered there anymore. I get that from a lot of people. But there are some people who order things every time, but lately haven't. Is it because of this other guy?
