The Watcher

This is something that happened yesterday, which I clearly missed because I was sleeping.

I was getting ready to deliver some papers this morning at around 6am, my sister was talking to Mom about this suspicious looking guy who, yesterday, wandered past our house several times, looking at it every time he walked by, then eventually proceeded to sit across the road from the house, and continued to watch it. Why would someone do that?

I spoke to Holz about it after that, and she told me that if he happens to come by again doing this, I should probably call the cops, which isn't a bad idea because it's creepy to have someone watching the house like that.

Memories

This is something I've thought about a few times after I'd spoken to an old school friend, Amy Williams, over the past couple of days. I was discussing past events, and saying that I would love to be able to go back in time and change certain events in my life, such as the crash I was in when I had to go to this DMT place when I was on Job Seekers Allowance. I swear that crash is completely responsible for my epilepsy. Before that, I'd never had a seizure or anything. I was completely fine. No medical problems at all. JSA is something I'm never doing again because there is no way in hell I am going to get sent back there again.

Wandering the town

I haven't had much sleep today really. I climbed into bed about 2am today, and woke up about 5am. Guess an internal clock told me to wake because Mom was most likely going to wake me to do papers today because of sister working on the weekends. Imagine my surprise when she never asked for my help. I guess she thought I was sleeping and didn't want to disturb me. So, I woke up early for no real reason.

I left the house about 9am to go and deliver this one Betterware order to someone. At first, I thought there was no-one home because I never got an answer when I rang the bell. Like usual, I looked around into the garden to see if maybe they were hanging about in the garden, since it's a nice day out. They were. It was a youngish guy with 2 young girls. I'd assume that it was a father and his 2 daughters. The owner of the house said that she wouldn't be home this week, but someone would be there to take the items.

After that, I went into town to collect my pills because I'd forgotten to ask Mom if she could pick them up for me today. So, I figured I'd do it else I probably wouldn't get them until Monday, which wouldn't be too good because I would've run out of pills today, and would have had to go Sunday without any. While in town, I decided to look around, see if there were any jobs going. No such luck. All I got was very hot because it's damn hot outside today. Walking up hill doesn't really help. Just makes you feel even hotter. I had to splash cold water over my face several times when I got home.

A year already?

I can't really believe that. I logged onto Facebook after waking up today to see that a few friends' statuses are about Michael Jackson and how he died a year ago today. Has it really been a year already? It only seems like it happened a couple of months ago. I'm amazed that it's been an entire year. If that's true, then I guess there's going to be a lot of stuff about him on a whole lot of TV channels. But, I never watch TV anymore, so that really won't affect me too much. Haha.

I wonder how long it's been since I last watched TV then if it's already been a year since Michael Jackson's death? Now I'm curious whether I made a note of it in this blog anywhere in the past.

Dead bird

It's not been all that great of a day for my sister it appears. One of the dogs we have now, Penny, is constantly leaping up at the bird cage in my sister's room whenever the birds are flying around. Today, she did it again, but this time, Penny managed to get one of the birds in her mouth. My brother tried to save it from her, but the bird bit him right under the nail, and the bird was dead before he could try again. My sister isn't happy about it at all, and is extremely mad with the dog, who she is usually perfectly fine with.

I haven't been up to much myself today. I was woken up about 23:00 yesterday by a female voice whispering my name and telling me to "Come on!". I didn't get too much sleep really, due to a picture of a ghost I'd seen online causing me to have trouble falling asleep. So, annoyed, I yelled "Alright! I'm coming!" and opened my eyes to see that no-one was there.

Since about 11:00, I've been playing around with my guitar, which I've taken to teaching myself on. I now know how to play a few tunes/partial tunes. I can't play the full tune of most of these fairly simple songs. I can, so far, play the Jurassic Park theme, part of the Mario Brothers theme (does anyone have a good tab on it?), Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and part of Deck the Halls. I know these are all simple songs and there's nothing majorly difficult about them, but I'm a beginner at guitar. Always best to start simple than to get into something hard immediately and ending up quitting out of frustration of not being able to play your favorite tunes. Seems to be something a lot of people seem to do. Immediately try to learn a tune by a band they love and then quit because it's too difficult to do.

Facebook to charge?

I may have posted about this before. I'd really love to know how this whole rumor started. I have to admit that I'm tired of constantly being invited to a whole bunch of these different "We will not pay for Facebook. If you charge, we're gone." groups. That may not be the exact name of a group, but that roughly the name of just about all of these groups. Do people really believe that?

Think seriously about it for a moment. There are several social networking sites, the two best known ones being MySpace and Facebook. The most popular of the two currently is Facebook. Now, if Facebook were to charge, people who are not willing to pay or don't have the money to pay for it if they were willing to pay, will leave and most likely go back to MySpace. The people who would pay for Facebook would leave not too much longer afterward because I'm sure most of their friends would be gone, and they won't see a point to paying for something when their friends are no longer there. This would lead to Facebook shutting down and their business being no more.

Would Facebook really be that stupid? There may be times when they have been "losing" money, but I'm sure they're making alot more money being free than they would if they charged for it.

I've done a search on Google for this kind of stuff, and there are several sites that have stated it's just a rumor. A scam. Something someone started in order to scare Facebook users away from Facebook. There's even an article on an official UK newspaper's (The Telegraph) website saying that Facebook CEOs and such have denied that they will charge for it.

I don't believe for a second they will charge for it. It seems that several of my friends believe it though with the amount of invites to these groups I've had to ignore.

Here are a few websites revealing it's a lie. A scam. Sure, there are several that say it's the truth, but I don't believe them. If it turns out to be true, then I'll apologize for being wrong. They'd be retards though if they do and don't want to become a forgotten part of the Internet.

I just have to share this link I had received in my e-mail from StumbleUpon. I occasionally get e-mails from them with "Recommended Sites" that are similar to ones I've liked on there. I can't exactly what websites I did add to my favorites, so I have no idea what this news story was similar to, but I just have to share because it's so amazing, yet a little bit silly at the same time!

I guess this does kind of prove one thing - video games CAN educate you in useful skills. So, you can't tell people that video games are no good for you when they can teach you useful stuff like this. Sure, they could also be a negative influence too, but you usually hear that they're bad for you and never do anything good. That news shows that there can be good that comes from playing games!

Chat Roulette Improv

I'm sure there are plenty of people who already know about Merton, the piano guy who has a couple of videos on YouTube where he'd sung to people on Chat Roulette. There's also another guy who plays guitar and does something similar to Merton. Not surprisingly, people compare them to one another, and this other guy is getting comments from Merton fans telling him he sucks, isn't funny, and is just copying Merton. Personally, I like both Merton, and this guitarist. They're both hilariously funny to me.

I've had a few friends telling me I should do improv myself on Chat Roulette when I'm better at playing the guitar, which is something I would definitely take an attempt at because it seems like a lot of fun. Obviously, if I ever record it and put it on YouTube, there are going to be a ton of people who are going to say I'm copying Merton, or copying this other guy, or maybe copying both. Maybe it is slightly, but why are people so shallow-minded about things like this that other people started? Hell, anyone who can play an instrument can do what these two are doing. You'd be told you're copying though because you weren't the first to do it.

Technically, wouldn't everyone on Earth be copying something if they weren't the first ever person to do it? You could write really silly parodies, and you're most likely going to be compared with someone else, like maybe Weird Al. I doubt Weird Al is one of the first ever people to write parodies, but he's definitely one of the best known parody writers.

I wish for once people would watch a person for what they are, and not compare them to someone doing a similar things. If you've got to be one of those people, then here's a simple solution. Quit bitching about how they're copying someone if you don't like them, and just don't watch their stuff. Simple!

Well, I'm just going to link the videos by Merton and the other guy here because I enjoy them a lot. Hopefully narrow-minded people aren't going to watch Merton, then go to the other guy and whine about how he's copying.

I've got to say I got the most pleasant surprise when I logged onto WordPress today to look at my stats. 23 views! That's a new record for my blog since usually I don't get more than four or five views a day. Before today, the most views I had gotten was 9 back on Saturday, May 29, 2010. So, to all those who viewed my blog today, thanks.

Also, thanks to Mister Reiner for his comment on my last entry, Negativity. It helped. In-fact, I like the words of encouragement so much, I'm going to share them here.

Every day is a new day. An opportunity to wake up with a smile instead of a frown. As long as you’ve got a roof over your head, a comfortable bed to sleep in and a full stomach, life is good. If your employment situation is getting you down, see if you can find some volunteer work to keep you busy or help some of the elderly folks around your neighborhood or read out loud to younger kids at the local library. Wash cars, clean yards, run errands, whatever. Your life doesn’t have to revolve around you – it can revolve around others. The more you give of yourself, the more you will get in return. You’ll see.

Be happy to be alive and to have people around you that care about you. Those are things worth living for. If you’re not doing anything, do something for those you care about to make their lives easier. Look around the house – I’m sure you’ll find something you can do. It’s not about what they will do in return for you, because that is not what life is all about.

I hope those words can help out other people as it did with me. It livened my day, that's for sure.

I never got into town today because I was too tired to stay awake long enough to do it. So, sometime this week, I've really got to try to get into town to look around for work. Hopefully, I can find something to apply for. I could try calling this B&B place tomorrow to see what it is they require. I spotted their number on the door of the Londis store down the road after I'd delivered Betterware catalogs, and ended up muttering the number all the way home in order to remember it. I guess this is a hint to always carry a pen and a notepad around. Would be easier than talking to yourself over and over in order to remember the correct number.

Hopefully, what the B&B requires is something I can actually do. If it involves cooking, then that's me pretty much out because I am I useless cook. It's a skill I lack. If it's just cleaning and stuff, I could do that because I've done that kind of work before. It's not something I enjoy, but you've just got to take anything you can do really since jobs appear to be hard to find recently.

Also, I've been a member of this site, formspring.me for a few days now, and although it's fun answering questions, it can die down when no-one is asking you anything. So, I guess this is as good a place as any to ask, if you'd like to ask me some questions, go to my page there, and ask something. Negativity

I've majorly upset one person I care a hell of a lot about again. I'm sure a few readers have noticed that I can be quite negative at times, or maybe a lot of times. I have no idea on that really. I don't think I'm negative a lot, but maybe I just don't see it because I cover things up with jokes as much as I can.

I guess I can admit that I haven't been as positive as I probably can be lately. It's not like my life is one of the worse ever, and I know that. As Sharlet told me, if I really want an easy way out of everything, I know what to do. But, that isn't something I'm going to do, even though I'm sure a few people recently have been wishing I would take the easy way out so they won't have to listen to my negativity.

I have my guitar laying on my bed. What I really need to do is look for some website to teach me chords and such so I can start learning to play it. There is probably somewhere in town that does lessons, and although I would go for that, I don't have the money for it. So, currently, I'm just going to have to teach myself as best as I can. If anyone knows of any good websites for that, please let me know.

Unreliable

Great. I’ve lost a Betterware customer now, thanks to Neil. She called up just now saying that she had ordered something from me about a month again, and she’d never received it. I asked her if she knew what it was, and apologized that I never got it because I give all the orders to my “boss”. She then told me not to bother delivering catalogs to her anymore because she’d rather order things from someone reliable. Thanks a fucking lot, Neil! I don’t make much money, and now I’m going to make even less since I lost that customer.

Things really aren’t going my way lately it seems. I still need to find a job, but no-one else in the house does. Mom’s boyfriend, Sean, got my sister a job. It’s nice how everyone in the house gets offered jobs without trying, however, I don’t. Why can’t things just go my way for once? Next thing I have to wonder is, how many other customers, besides that one who called me, am I going to lose if she tells her friends that I’m unreliable?

Monday, I think I’ll have to walk into town, again, and search around for jobs again. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll find anything, and nothing is going to fall into my lap like it does for the rest of my family.

Fox News Update

I'm not having a very good time lately. I've upset the girl I love several times recently, although not meaning to do it on purpose. Honestly, I could understand if she doesn't care for me in the same way I care for her after all the upset I've caused her. I just wish I could actually make someone completely happy for once instead of upsetting them.

As for jobs, still no luck. Why is it everyone else in this house gets jobs offered to them without having to look for them? I wish someone would offer ME a job without me having to look around. But, that's just wishful thinking.

I was just flicking through The Sun newspaper, and spotted that there was an update on the fox attack news that I reported in Fox News. Here's the update.

I'm sure this title will be misleading, but I figured it would be a fun title for this news story I just spotted on the front page of the British newspaper, The Sun. Now, the news story definitely isn't something to laugh about.

Pet scare

I have to admit, I was a little scared earlier thanks to Dyson. I was leaving my bedroom, and looked into Mom's room to see him laying on her bed. Like usual, I said "What are you doing there, Dyson?", at which point he usually puts his head up and looks over at me. This time though, he never did that. He just lay completely still, staring blankly over toward the window. After looking at him for about 10 seconds, I felt really scared because he wasn't blinking or remotely moving. I ran into the room and sat on the bed to pet him, sadly saying "Dyson?". He decided to move at this point.

He not a young dog. He's 10 years old, which is why it scared me. I'm glad he's ok though.

Ignorance and hate

I was linked to this page by a friend, which is really a sad sight if you're an animal lover. I have to say, I'm shocked by some comments that people have posted on there. For example, this one comparing animals to human suffering.

I think it is pathetic how all of you can be moved by the suffering of some birds, while the United States has multiple active wars in progress. Wars that hurt humans.

If you will sit back and let war be waged around the world, why is this really so hard to witness? We eat birds every day.

If you don't care about humanity, quit fooling yourself, you don't care about this either.

Now, I care about people, and I care about animals. But, this person is basically saying people should not care about these oil slicked birds, because animals are just food. Are you kidding me? If you think about it, if all humans' actually cared about life, then there wouldn't be any wars. There wouldn't be any killing of other humans. Don't tell people they do not care about humanity just because we care about animals and find animals in danger saddening. Tell people that kind of stuff on a news report about human deaths and war!

Honestly, I wish that most humans, the "most intelligent" species on Earth would use that thing between their ears called a brain, to realize that murder and war and such is actually very UNINTELLIGENT and stop killing one another! Until you can drill that into peoples' heads, then don't bitch at the people who care about animals, because I think you'll find we care about humans too.

Why do people blame an entire country for one thing like this? I'm a Brit, and I have NOTHING to do with this horrible act. I'll acknowledge that BP is a British company (I didn't know that until today), but how are ALL Brits linked to this? It's one company! Come on, that would be like blaming every person in the United States for stupid decisions like the war in Iraq. Is every person in the US really responsible for that? NO!

I really wish people wouldn't be so ignorant, and blaming every American for the suffering in the world. Or calling every Brit a murderer because of history. STOP BEING STUPID PEOPLE!

How do you say sorry?

I really hate upsetting the people I care most about, but I manage to majorly upset one of my best friends yesterday all because of a missing line in the conversation. I was asking about her pet dog, and she told my that the dog was being stupid, then said not to ask. Jokingly, in my usual fashion, I asked "Why?" and this angered her. I apologized then proceeded to ask her why she was annoyed. Bad idea because this angered her even more. It turns out she didn't want me to ask why she was annoyed.

I honestly don't know what to do. I went silent on her because I didn't want to make her even more angry with me, but she was blah about it, thinking I was gone. I did, however, leave after a couple of hours of not talking to go and get some sleep. Since then, I haven't logged onto Yahoo! because I really don't know what to say to her. I totally pissed her off yesterday. In-fact, her Twitter status not too long after I angered her was "Why the hell do I attract psychos? Someone please tell me".

Am I one of those psychos? I love her, which is why I'm curious about it. If I am, then I guess I should just be friends, and never try to be anything more. God, that will be hard. Is it possible to do that with someone you'd really like to be with?

Facebook monthly fee?
