There isn't going to be much to this entry. I just wanted to bring a blog entry that a friend wrote to peoples' attentions since she'd like it to be noticed.
Yesterday, she showed me this rather disturbing article on a plan Obama has supposedly had a vote on to save an endangered fish. But, I don't think anyone had thought this through. My friend wrote an entry about it with the crisis that may happen if this happens, and a more logical solution to saving this fish.
Please, if you can, check out this entry and maybe leave a comment on the blog sharing what you think about it. I'd be very grateful, as well my friend for any recognition of her entry. If you do agree with what she's written, could you please help out and spread word of her entry. Hopefully then, someone will consider the more logical solution she has suggested. Back to the Future 4 - Not gonna happen
I've got to say I'm amazed. Because of the recent spree of remakes and sequels of old classics, I searched Google for Back to the Future 4. I just had to see if they were going to make a 4th. There are several pages saying there will not be a Back to the Future 4. That's not what amazed me though. One page I read, there were about 67 comments from people actually wanting a 4th movie, and maybe even a 5th, 6th, 7th and more. It made me wonder if I'm the only Back to the Future fan that doesn't, and hasn't ever wanted a 4th movie for the series. I'm more than happy with the trilogy that currently exists. It wrapped up perfectly (at least in my mind it did), and doesn't need any more sequels. Am I truly the only person who doesn't want to see anymore? Are there any other fans out there like me who would lose all faith in the movie industry if they touched this classic trilogy?

Not another Scream movie...
Ok. I didn't know about this until I just read about it, on here. I'd love to know why people can't just leave series like this alone. You expect trilogies to be left as trilogies. I'm so annoyed about this! Just like Indiana Jones. The Terminator as well. Indiana Jones should've been left alone with The Last Crusade. Terminator should've been left alone with Judgement Day. It's happening with Video Game series as well. Metal Gear Solid is one example. I've heard that they've already planned a 5th Metal Gear Solid. Raiden will be the main character. Metal Gear Solid 4 seems to be the last game in which we'll be playing Snake. It's not going to be good, especially for people who totally hated Raiden's character in Metal Gear Solid 2. I'm one of those people.
According to IGN (This is a link to the UK site since I'm from the UK. Sorry), Hideo isn't going to be at the helm of this one. The person who created the series isn't going to be leading the project. Is the series going to go the same way as alot of movies which no longer have the original director? Milked for all the cash it can be, with a poor story to accommodate it?
I might see Scream 4 when it comes out on DVD, but I'm not going to expect it to be any good.
The Final Destination is one movie I'm never going to watch though. I've already seen the existing 3, and apart from the first one, I've not liked a single one of them. I did, however, like the trilogy of Scream movies. They should be left alone as a trilogy though!

Plentyoffish profile lies
A lot of profiles on this site contain total lies. Several members have posted "I will reply to all messages" in their profiles, however, they do not reply. I'm amazed by it really. I've messaged a few members who have posted that line, or something similar on their profiles, yet I've not had a single reply. Some of them haven't even read the messages. In the "sent messages" window, it will tell you if the messages have been read or not, and it will also tell you if the message has been deleted. I've had a few with "Unread Deleted". Why aren't members taking the time to read the messages, especially if their profiles say they "will reply to all messages".
One member I messaged had the headline "Not like other girls.". That turned out to be very misleading because she didn't reply either. That would technically make her like all the other ladies I've messaged on that site. There's no difference between her and every other member I've messaged so far. I know I'm not like the most interesting guy on that site because to be honest, I have no friends offline, I don't go out drinking because I hate the taste of alcohol, and I have no real social life due to that. So, my topics of conversation are really limited to things I can do daily, which is basically restricted to taking random walks, playing video games, watching movies and talking to friends online. Instead, I try to talk about anything I can think of. Things that could be of some interest to others. Childhood memories, pets, music, movies.
One thing I have mentioned to every member I've messaged so far is a childhood memory of my dog. She was a female golden labrador named Tammy who turned out to be a great source of humor to people in primary school, due to the fact I'd misheard her name. I originally thought it was "Tummy". It's amusing to look back at now, but at the time I had no idea why everyone was constantly coming up to me and asking what her name was, then bursting out laughing when I said it. I wonder why I didn't realise sooner how stupid a dog named "Tummy" would be.
I have alot of weird and horrible childhood memories though. When I was about 7, a friend, my brother, and I were all playing in the football field just across the road from where I live. I can't remember what we were playing exactly. I can only remember the horrible accident I had on the way back home. I was walking a little way behind my brother and my friend. They'd gotten across the road safely. I, however, wasn't so lucky. I was run down by a white car. It was a fairly foggy day, and this car didn't have it's headlights on, so when I did see it, it was too late really. That's not really the worse part of it. The worse part of it was when I got back to school after that. You would expect a teacher to be caring, asking if I was alright. However, this teacher blamed me for the entire thing! She said it was all my fault for running into the car. I wouldn't purposely run into a car trying to kill myself. Hell, if I were that suicidal, I don't think I would've bothered trying to save myself when I almost drowned in a public pool. That's not a nice story either.
What happened on that occasion was weird to say the least. I can't remember exactly how I ended up in a situation where I went underwater and had problems trying to resurface again. But, I found out how uncaring people can be. I was clearly struggling for my life, yet the people around me, and even the pool guard just appeared to be watching. Nobody even tried to help. This is one reason why I am terrified to go swimming anymore.

Plentyoffish and other dating sites
I have got to say that dating websites such as Plentyoffish aren't as great as people may think! I've been a member of Plentyoffish for a little while now, and I've messaged a few of it's members. It's amazing how utterly unresponsive people are. Members' profiles will be complaining that there are no nice guys to talk to. However, no matter how nice a guy you may be, they have no interest! They're not even polite enough to reply to simple questions. I know that I'm not the best looking guy around, but surely members really aren't so shallow that they cannot reply and answer questions along with "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested.".
Of all the messages that I've sent, I've only had replies from two members. Two! One of those members has told me that she was not interested in me, and I can understand that, and I appreciate her honestly. But, what about everyone else? Surely not everyone I've messaged gets so many messages that they cannot reply to me. Can they?

However, if you're a not-so-attractive guy, there are hardly any members will want to talk to you. Why is that? I wish somebody would tell me what is wrong with my profile on that site.
