I'm not really sure if this is true or not. According to my grandfather, Mike (the previous owner of this farm) said that Kilminorth Farm was up for sale. So far, I haven't been able to find any proof of this on the Internet, which is apparently where Mike found out about it. If it's true, it's going to be like the paper shop just down the road from me. It's not going to sell for the amount Gary is asking for. He apparently is selling to for £3 million, when he only bought it for about £2 million. Just like the paper shop. Been ruined and is selling for more than it was bought for. So far, I haven't been able to find proof of it. Maybe Mike was mistaken. Either that, or it's very well hidden!
Currently, the weather here is complete and utter shit. Not very nice for the Carnival week that is happening here. Yesterday, there was supposed to be a sandcastle building contest for kids. It was too wet for that apparently, but kids turned up in waterproof clothing for it. However, it was cancelled. The awful thing about it was that there was no-one from the...people who run this Carnival week there to say that it was cancelled or nothing. You'd think someone would be there to tell the kids, even if they were sitting in a car to tell them. There is enough shelter around to sit under so the person wouldn't get wet.
Hopefully, the weather will be better on Saturday. It'll be awful if the whole float thing was cancelled. I really wanna see what the Bodmin Beast Burning people (if they turn up) will make this year. Not going to happen if it's too wet and cancelled.

Betterware Treasure Hunt
I'm more than sure I'm not going to win anything in this thing. Neil was asking if I got the letter about it. I did, so he asked me to pick a number between 1 and 500. I chose 218 (noted just in case). But, to qualify for this thing, I have to make like £200+ in orders. I'm sure that's not going to happen...not without a bit of luck.

Floral Dance 2008
Yeah. This is a yearly thing. This is going to be the last year I'm going to see any of this stuff because I'll be in the US next year. Hopefully, Saturday's Carnival will be good. I would like to leave knowing that the last one I see will be brilliant. But, going by the trend since 2005, it probably won't be that great. The reason behind it all is Sheila's School of Dancing. They never really put ANY effort into their stuff. Basically they just decorate with a couple of ribbons, and that's it. They always seem to win too. It's not fair on anyone at all. Especially people who put in weeks of effort into their stuff. They really need to get new judges for this stuff because Sheila's School of Dancing doesn't deserve to win at all. Ban them from the Carnival, and maybe everyone will probably come back!
Anyway, I didn't really go into town to watch it. I was looking around for a job I could apply for. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything. So, on Thursday, I'll look around in Liskeard for something. Mom can always drive me to Liskeard if I find something there. I wouldn't wanna get the train there or anything. They're always late, or never stop anywhere near the main town it seems.
Saturday, I'm going to take my digital camera with me, like always, to take pictures of the floats. I might take one of "Sheila's School of Dancing" too, just to show people how fucking shit they really are. They don't deserve to win...ever! I'm also going to take a picture of Nelson's statue. I've been meaning to do it for a while, but I keep forgetting to take my camera with me. I'll definately have it on Saturday, so that's when I'll get a picture of it.

PASSPORT!!!
YES! I got it. After only 2 days too! The receptionist at the place in St Austell said that the time it takes to receive depends on how many people are applying for passports. 2 days would suggest that hardly anyone is applying for passports. After that interview, I was so scared that I wasn't going to get my passport. But, I'm so excited! I GOT IT! WOOHOO!
All that's left now is to get a job, get the money, and get my ass to the US! Won't be too long until I'm with my beautiful little kitten!

Passport interview...
I am so not looking forward to this now. I attended it after having to take a LONG detour because of some traffic accident that had happened on the way there. Luckily, we were there way before the appointment. I had no idea that the interview would be as hard as it was. I'm sure I've messed up on a bunch of questions. I just pray that the few I messed up on for sure aren't going to affect it.
Some questions I messed up on for sure was Dad's birthplace (I have no clue. Not even Mom knew.), Tim's age (I said 50s...hopefully I wasn't off by too much.), Dad's current address (he's moved so much, I don't know what his address is for sure anymore.)...and when Mom and Dad's wedding was (How should I know?).
I know everything else was ok...but will those few things affect whether I get the passport or not? I've been told it should arrive in 4-10 days, and that if it doesn't I should call their advice line. Hopefully, it will turn up. I really don't wanna hear that I've failed the interview because that would mean I'd need another £80 to apply for it again. Then I'll have to ask Tim for his age. Ask Mom when the wedding was. Ask Dad for his address...and somehow try to remember it. Also, I'd have to ask for his birthplace.
If anyone is in the UK and reads this, will you please let me know if that affects whether I get it or not? On Thursday, I'm going to ask for another passport application from the Post Office in Liskeard, just in case I have failed it and need to do it all again.
Please God...let me have passed. If I haven't, I have to do all this shit again. Another 6 weeks of waiting for the interview etc. It's really going to affect when I can get to the US if it happens. I wanna get to the US as soon as possible really.

Am I no better?
Sometimes I have to ask myself if I'm any better than certain people. Today, I was talking to my friend, Amber, about religions and how I found out that one of my friends is one of those people that I don't really like at all. She's one of those Christians that believe that if you DON'T follow Christianity, then you're going straight to Hell and all. It's one thing I hate about Christianity...the fact that there are a bunch that try to shove it down your throat and threatening you to believe what they believe else you're going to suffer an eternity of pain. So, I told her that that is the reason I don't follow that religion. But, she was saying that I was just as bad as those people. I'm not sure...am I?

Do not...by Bryn
I had a laugh at what my 8 year old brother bought home today. A tea stained sheet (to make it look like an old parchment) with alot of "Do not" rules on it. Alot of them I can't understand. This is what it kind of looks like...
1. Do not fight.
2. Do not steni.
3. Do not litter anywhere.
4. Do not dric brire.
5. Do not liye.
6. Do not cil.
7. Do not be grid.
8. Do not be gelis.
9. Do not be notiy.
10. Luryor nabl liyr fmliy.
Does anyone know what the hell most of that is most to say?

Respectful.
I know this is getting to get alot of "Gross!", "How could he do that!?" like stuff, but this is something I find really honorable to do. Today, my brother saved this young girl from too much harm when three seagulls started to attack her to get her food. Around here, seagulls are like that. They're not afraid to attack you for your lunch, or attack you for just merely walking by a house they're nesting on. I really hate it because I get attacked alot myself.
Anyway, the kids parents were clueless as to what to do about it (probably didn't want to also get attacked trying to defend her), and it seems like no-one else was going to step in a help this young child out, so that's when my brother stepped in. Stupidly, the seagulls wouldn't move, even as he approached. They got what they deserved because of that. He stomped on them, crushing them to death.
The child parents thanked him for that and bought him lunch because he was low on cash.
I'd love to know how other people can just walk on by and ignore something like that. Are people really that uncaring that they wouldn't help out a young child in danger? I know if I were there, I would've done the same thing for two reasons. First and most important reason would be to help out the child, and second reason is out of pure hatred after being attacked so many times myself.
