And the search continues...
I told a few friends that I had an interview on Monday at 19:00 about a job I'd e-mailed about. But, as I figured would happen like every other job I've tried for lately, I didn't get it. So, the search continues. Next time the weather isn't too bad, I'm going to have to take another walk into town and look around. Just what is it about me and job? Why can't I ever find one? It's actually starting to depress the fuck outta me, seriously.

TalkTalk - Run by morons
Here's a warning to all Brits - If you are ever approached by anyone from TalkTalk, immediately slam the door in their face. They're complete morons, and they simply cannot take "No!" for an answer. Why am I saying this? Well, a couple of days before the 1st November, 2010, these two young men who were representing TalkTalk came to the house. Mom let them in to hear them out, however, they wouldn't leave unless she signed up. She did so, and was told she had seven days to change her mind, which she did.
The 1st of November came around and she immediately called them to cancel it. She was told that it was canceled. A day or two after, we received more stuff from TalkTalk. Yet again, she called and canceled. Yet again, she was told they'd now canceled it. Another day or two later and we receive more items. This time, Mom's boyfriend, Sean, called them to cancel it. Yet again, we are told it is canceled.
On the 12th of November, the date I was told by AOL that we were getting cut off by another phone company (TalkTalk), what happened? We got cut off by TalkTalk. I called AOL on the 13th November to ask about why I could no longer connect to the Internet. The reason? TalkTalk had cut us off. Annoyed by this news, I called Mom to tell her that we'd still been cut off by TalkTalk. She got home at about 12:30, and called TalkTalk to ask them why we were STILL signed up to their shit. The guy talking to Mom on the phone was clearly a complete idiot since he was barely listening to Mom telling him that now she'd lost the phone company she was happy with, as well as about me losing my AOL thanks to these fuckheads. This guy didn't care. He just continued to barely listen and argue with Mom, angering her even more. He even told her that their computer had shown that we'd chosen not to be signed up to them. Well, why go ahead and continue to sign us up to them?
So, be warned Brits. If you're not already with TalkTalk, and are perfectly happy with your current phone and Internet provider, do not listen to these guys. You will regret it because they simply cannot take no for an answer.
Honestly, I don't think the computer showed that we were canceled. I think that was just his way of trying to calm Mom down. But, how would that calm anyone down? If you tell someone their details and shit have been canceled, then you fucking CANCEL it. You don't go ahead and continue to disconnect them from their current phone and Internet provider!
I swear...this company must only have customers from not listening to what people do and do not want. Is anyone on TalkTalk really happy with the service, or did you all just agree to get some people out of the house, then went ahead within seven days to cancel, only to find out the cancellation was all a fucking lie?

The Egg
Honestly, I have no real idea where this came from as I found it as a text file on my computer. I don't remember saving it, so I'm guessing that maybe a friend sent it to me. But, if it was sent by a friend, I can't remember who it was.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little story thing. It is kinda interesting.
