Subtle

Nice going.

Earlier, I had to install a keyboard on Sean's computer because he's too retarded to work out that simply plugging the damn thing in will install it automatically. I turned on the monitor to make sure it was working correctly, to see his Facebook page open and a couple of Facebook chat conversations. One he was having with some female named Katherine Holmes (I think), was basically total flirting. At least, it was in the last couple of lines I read.

He was telling her that he looked like Shrek, she replied that she hopes he doesn't kiss like a frog. He told her he kisses like "a horny cornish boy". I can't recall what she said next, but he went on to say that her "mouth isn't the only place" he'll kiss.

Real subtle cheating there.

I've no idea if Mom knows about it at all, but if she doesn't, she's not going to listen to me, or anyone else in the house. She knows we all hate Sean, so she'll just think it's an attempt to get him kicked out of the house.

At times when he's in his and Mom's room, he'll lock the door, even though no-one but Mom will walk in there. It makes you wonder why. Is it because he's flirting with a bunch of females on Facebook and doesn't want Mom to see?

He'd probably talk his way out of it if she ever did see, and say that he's just joking with these women. That may be a possibility, but for some reason, I don't believe he's joking at all. There's nothing I can really do about it anyway. It'd only be his word against mine, and since she knows I don't like him, she'll take his side over mine.

Don't judge before you know the full story

Earlier, when I was looking over my Facebook page, I came across a video called Did You Know by YouTube user JordanWeissman. In the video, he's basically talking about how people tend to judge a person before they even get to know that person's story. Check it out, because he really does have a point when you watch it.

In the Suggestions to the right of the video, I came across a video called my secrets... by YouTube user wellendore. It seems this video is a response to an entire collection of YouTube videos about secrets. I have no idea who originally started it, but it can be interesting to see what secrets a lot of people have. Not surprisingly, a lot of the female users include the secret "I think I'm fat". Are there any females who don't think that when you can clearly see that they are not remotely fat? It's amazing to me that any female can think they're fat, even though they're slim. It's even worse when one looks like nothing more than skin and bones, and they STILL think they're fat. I really wish females wouldn't think like that.

One YouTube user, TheSammiMariaShow makes a real good point with one of the secrets she posted in her video of My secrets. The secret? "I'm still learning not to compare myself to others, which can be hard in this bloody looks obsessed world...". It's a very valid point. People really are obsessed with looks. Maybe this is the reason a lot of females seem to assume they're fat; they're not as slim as some supermodels and all, and so assume they're HUGE. I really wish people wouldn't compare themselves to skeletons.

Some of my favorite females are friends who are happy with who they are. At least they can be themselves, and not have to force themselves into being skeletons just to fit in with everyone's idea of being "beautiful".

Let me know in the comments what you think. Do you need to fit in with everyone's idea of "beauty" and "perfection", or are you just happy to be yourself, regardless?

Video game movies

Are movie producers really being serious when thinking up these movies? I was on IMDB today checking out the release date of a movie I saw for rent at a store down the road. The movie? Tekken. I wasn't aware that they even made a movie about that fighting game. It was released in 2010 apparently. It's not a movie I'm going to take a look at though.

Other fighting games that got a movie were Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Plenty of people thought those movies were total shit, so I don't have much hope for Tekken. I've never seen the Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat movies, and I never intend to.

Anyway, while I was on IMDB, I saw a list of movies based on video games. Some gamers already know about as they've been released, but there are a bunch of upcoming ones listed. Will any of them be good? Who knows. Here's the list, and my thoughts on a few of them.

TRON: Legacy (2010).
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010). This isn't that bad of a movie really. I'll admit, it was worth watching. However, there is one thing that really bugged me; the fact that they called the Prince "Dustan". Why give him a name when in the games he is just called "The Prince".
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003).
Hitman (2007).
Max Payne (2008).
Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010). A friend of mine already knows how I feel about this series. I hate it. They messed up everything with it really. I never really watched any of the movies after Nemesis. How they could turn something as badass as Nemesis into a cry baby is shocking. In the games, he's an unstoppable killing machine. In the movie...he fucking cried! Are you kidding me?
Kane & Lynch (2013).
Tekken (2010).
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007).
Silent Hill (2006).
Doom (2005).
Far Cry (2008).
Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God (2005).
DOA: Dead or Alive (2006).
Alone in the Dark II (2008).
House of the Dead 2 (2005).
Assassin's Creed: Lineage (2009).
Bloodrayne: The Third Reich (2010).
Red Faction: Origins (2011).
Castlevania (2011). Question with this one is, which one of the Belmonts is it going to be based on? Simon?
Army of Two (2011).
Duke Nukem (????). It amuses me that the release date for this movie is unknown. Is it going to take 12+ years to be released, just like Duke Nukem: Forever?
Infamous (2011).
Clock Tower (2012).
Metal Gear Solid (2012).
Halo (????).
Gears of War (????).
Mass Effect (2012).
Just Cause (2012).
Dark Void (2014). Never even heard of this game
Driver (2012).
Splinter Cell (2013).
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (2013).
Warcraft (2013).
Bioshock (2013).
Dead Space (2013).
Lost Planet (2013).
Missile Command (2013). Can you seriously make a movie out of this extremely old game? It's going to look completely retarded. The next movie in the list isn't much better!
Asteroids (2014).
Heavy Rain (2014).

Now, the question is, how many of these movies are actually going to be worth seeing? Hopefully Metal Gear Solid will be a good one. Splinter Cell will hopefully be a good one as well. We'll just have to wait and see.

Let me know in the comments (especially gamers) which of these movies you'll be checking out, or which ones you think will actually be good.

A day to avoid

Have you ever had one of those days when you just wish you had avoided all of your friends because you'd assume they'd be happier if they didn't have to put up with your shit? That's the kind of day I'm having today.

I should've known today was going to be total hell after I was jokingly insulting a friend's boyfriend, only to find out he was sitting right next to her and most likely read the entire thing. She signed off of chat not too long after that. No idea if it was to avoid me, or if it's because her boyfriend told her to get off of chat right at that moment. Either way, I don't think I'm going to be hearing from her for a while now.

I signed into Yahoo! today about two hours after waking up and getting out of bed...against my better judgement. I PMed another friend only to find out that she isn't in a good mood. I basically told her that I knew it was a bad idea to even bother signing into chat today because I just seem to be upsetting everyone. Told her I'd talk to her later. Although, I think later is going to turn out to be tomorrow, or possibly Wednesday. I'm tired of upsetting people.

I think today is going to be one of those days I'm just going to spend playing video games, or watching movies and YouTube videos. It sounds like the best plan right now.

Very, VERY disturbing

I've got to say, I'm really disturbed by some commercials. I was just watching a video on YouTube titled "the best viral videos of 2008", and wow. There is one toy commercial in it that is completely wrong.

You can see that commercial in "the best viral videos of 2008", as well as in this video titled "Rove Live - Baby Pee Pee (12/10/08)".

Whichever toy manufacturer thought that THAT toy was ok for kids of ANY age is seriously fucked in the head. I really hope that the toy isn't on any toy shelves. Well, I'm sure if it was in 2008, maybe 2009 too for a tiny bit, it most likely won't be on shelves anymore. If it is, I'm going to be very disturbed. I'll be disturbed even more if anyone actually bought one for their kids to play with.

Yesterday, after watching The Angry Joe Show, I heard about an XBox Live Arcade game called Comic Jumper. It's a little sad to me that it's only available on Arcade because it looks like a very funny and interesting game to play. However, I will most likely never be able to play it as the hard-drive on my XBox 360 is small, and I wouldn't be able to download it to play. I also don't have any Microsoft Points to be able to buy it. It's a shame because it's a game I would really love to play. I did find a playthrough of it though, which I've fully watched, and am actually watching again because the jokes are really funny, especially if you get what they're referring to with each joke.

I won't spoil any of the jokes, just incase anyone wants to buy the game. If for any reason you can't, like me, then check out the playthrough of it here. It's a playlist consisting of 33 videos that takes you all the way through the game. Also, Angry Joe's review of the game can be seen at here at YouTube, or here at Angry Joe's official website.

A selfish act

I never realized that any of my friends would think I would consider committing suicide. Heather, a good friend of mine, joked that we're not friends anymore, so as a joke, I said "Fine. I'll just leave then since I have no one else to talk to." and signed off of Yahoo! before signing back in. She was worried that I would commit suicide after that.

Honestly, committing suicide would be a little hypocritical of me as I have tried to talk many people out of it, telling them that it's a selfish act. People may not agree with me that it's selfish, but here's my reasoning on why it is a selfish act. There is always at least one person out there who cares the world about you. Sure, if you kill yourself, all your troubles will be gone, but what about the one or more people who care the world about you? Do you ever think about them? They will have to live the rest of their lives with the pain of your loss. I know because I've had a friend commit suicide, and it hurts.

So, to all the suicidal people out there, seriously think about what you're doing. You may be hurting. You may think no-one cares about you; that no-one would miss you. But, it's not true. Someone always cares dearly about you. Think about how much pain you're going to cause that person by killing yourself.

I'm sure I'm going to get some hateful comments on this entry for calling suicide a selfish act, but if you truely think about it, it IS a selfish act.

Rest In Peace

I just found out not too long ago that one of my best Betterware customers died yesterday. She's wasn't exactly a young lady or anything, but she was a very kind old lady. However, for a couple of months she has been very ill, I just didn't know how ill "very ill" actually meant when I was told that two months ago. Now I know...the dying kind of ill.

Rest In Peace, Mrs. Ruth Dan.

Upcoming movies

A few hours ago, after watching another classic movie (Species), I decided to check out IMDB due to recognizing one of the actors in the movie. I was thinking "Where have I seen this guy to recently?". After a little search, I found out that he played Doctor Octavius in the Spiderman 2 movie. I then decided to see what movies were playing now, and checked out what was coming over the next few weeks.

I was shocked to find out that there is going to be a fifth movie in the Final Destination series. Seriously? A fifth movie? I've only seen the first three movies, and apart from the very first one, they all sucked ass! In fact, I didn't even realize there was a forth movie. Are people really flocking to the movies and all to see these movies? I'm shocked. I personally thought they were getting worse and worse with each passing sequel (not that I saw the forth), but I guess the forth did well too since there's going to be a fifth.

Now, I wonder how many people are going to flock to see this one? Hopefully not too many. I hope it does poorly, but I'm sure it'll do well enough to end up getting a sixth movie.

Will I be proven wrong about this?

God, I really HOPE so.

I should really see if there are any movies coming up that I may be interested in see. There are a couple that I do want to see that are already out; those being Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and X-Men: First Class.

Some upcoming movies that I'm interested in seeing are:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Underworld: New Dawn.

Now, here are some of movies I may see, just out of curiousity.
The Smurfs.
Conan the Barbarian. Are they really remaking this movie? I'm a little curious to see where this goes.
The Thing. Wow. They remade THIS movie too? Like Conan, I'm curious to see how this turns out.
Mission:Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Ok. I admit that I enjoyed the first three, so I'm curious about this movie.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
Men In Black III.
Total Recall. Yet another remake I just found out about. I wonder how this one will turn out. Two remakes of Arnold movies...amazing.

Now, I do hope that people will prove me wrong and NOT see the fifth Final Destination movie.

One other movie that's not listed under the playing now list that I definitely want to see more than anything is Ghostbusters 3! Is it coming out in 2012? Who knows.

How did it go?

Alright, I'm back from my job interview. How did it go? I have no idea really. It's a really nice looking place though. The owner seems like an extremely nice woman. I got there 30 minutes too early, so I decided to wait out in the little hallway for 10 minutes, making it appear that I only turned up 20 minutes early. She seemed to appreciate that. I guess it shows her that I'll always been there on time or earlier to get working. If I get the job, I have to get there by 8:30 to start, and how long I remain there for the three days I have to do (if I get the job) really depends on how much of a mess there is.

The main downside to the job is that it's only a seasonal thing, and I'll only be needed to work during busy times; Summer holidays, Christmas holidays...you get the idea. So, I guess if I get it, I'll still have to look around for a more permanent job that'll be almost all year around so that I'm not stuck with several months of no cash.

Most of the interview wasn't even questions. Started out with just having to fill out an application form, which I couldn't fill out fully with references and stuff; like an idiot, I forgot to take that kind of information with me, and can't remember addresses and phone numbers off the top of my head. I'm sure that one thing isn't going to look too good in my favor. I did, however, explain that I've done similar jobs at other holiday sites, such as Treble B and Kilminorth Holiday Farm. I wonder if that'll help her overlook the fact that I couldn't put down any references.

Other than that, all she did was show me around the place and explained what it was I need to do (if I get the job).

This conversation is from about a week or two ago. I completely forgot I was going to blog this. Anyway, here's a "Damn You Auto Correct" I personally experienced. Enjoy!

Saving by killing?

I was shocked by an e-mail I received from a Facebook group called "Don't Allow Registered Sex Offenders on Facebook!!!". It said "Mom strangles and kills 11-year-old daughter to save her from pedophiles". How is that saving her? Here's the full news story.

The Sherwood mother of an 11-year-old girl confessed to police that she strangled and killed her daughter to save her from pedophiles, according to a Washington County arrest warrant for murder.

Kristina Buckley made the statement during an ambulance ride to St. Vincent's hospital, where she was being taken for treatment of self-inflicted wounds to her wrists and neck, the warrant read.

The warrant does not specify anything further about the reasons why the mother feared that harm would come to her daughter Cecilia Buckley.

The girl's body was found on the living room floor of her home at 17618 SW Galewood Drive late afternoon on June 2. Police had been dispatched to a report of an unresponsive person.

The warrant for Buckley was prepared by Tualatin police officer Kevin D. Winfield, who helped investigate the case as part of the Washington County Interagency Major Crimes Team.

Winfield said he arrived at the Buckley home about 5:20 on June 2. He was told that Cecilia Buckley was found limp on the floor of the front living room of the home.

Attempts were made to revive her and she was taken to Meridian Park Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A later autopsy would show she died of strangulation. Sherwood police found Kristina Buckley had locked herself in the bathroom, with self-inflicted wounds to her wrists and neck.

Winfield wrote that Sherwood officers said Buckley made spontaneous statements that she was Cecilia's mother and that she had killer her daughter.

Winfield read Miranda rights to her in the ambulance on the way to St. Vincent's hospital.

He said Buckley understood those rights and agreed to speak with him and a Tigard detective, acknowledging that "by killing Cecilia Buckley she would go to jail."

"Kristina Buckley said that in-part, her reason for killing Cecilia Buckley," Winfield wrote in the warrant, "was because she wanted to 'save' and protect Cecilia Buckley from pedophiles."

How fucked up...

I called a Bed & Breakfast place yesterday about a job, and was asked by the lady to see her Friday at 10:30. So, looks like I have a job interview tomorrow. Finally! A job that didn't just say "We'll call you.", and never call back. Hopefully, I can get this job. It'll only be working three days a week (Monday, Saturday and Sunday), but it's a lot better than nothing; and also it'll get Mom and her moronic boyfriend off of my back about jobs and all. I really hope I get the job.

Yahoo! conversations

It's amazing how many idiots you get in Yahoo! chat rooms. Here are conversations from two different morons that I've seen in the room lately.

newintown8teen: make som eggs...what a loser

circacityandcolour: I tell fat chicks they need to hit the treadmill
jdee482 left the room.
circacityandcolour: just straight to their face
arrong15 left the room.
circacityandcolour: they are a disgrace to their gender
kevin_correia left the room.
circacityandcolour: curves are not attractive
tidan_likida: And you're a disgrace to the male gender.

Currently, I'm very confused by a friend. Here's a little of the conversation I was having with her.

dream_angel129: I'm gonna go I'm not tired but I'm gonna go
tidan_likida: Don't go
dream_angel129: y not
tidan_likida: Cuz I said so?
tidan_likida: :P
dream_angel129: who r u to tell me to not leave and I have to listen
tidan_likida: I dunno. :-< Sorry.
tidan_likida: I just don't want ya to leave. But, if you really must...take care and I'll miss you.
dream_angel129: well when u figure out the answer to that question then get back to me
tidan_likida: You don't have to listen to me, you know that, and I know that
tidan_likida: But hey...I can at least wish you wouldn't leave and would stay to talk to me.
dream_angel129: u really do suck u know thst
dream_angel129: that*
tidan_likida: Why?
dream_angel129: becuz u don't catch on to anything
tidan_likida: Oh?
dream_angel129: so I'm really getting online now for an hour or two
dream_angel129: offline*
tidan_likida: Ok. I'll miss you. Take care of yourself and hope to see you soon.
dream_angel129: maybe ull figure things out.....
tidan_likida: I'm not entirely sure what I'm meant to figure out. :))
dream_angel129: that just goes to show u don't pay attention to things I say.....which mean I threw myself at a man who doesn't want me
dream_angel129: bye
tidan_likida: Well, what am I meant to figure out? I have no right to tell you to stay and you must listen. I've got no right to tell any of my friends that, no matter how good a friend they are
tidan_likida: I want you to stay, but I can't force you to, no matter how much I want you to

Now, I'm curious as to what I am supposed to figure out. Is she saying she likes me again? If so, I guess I should've said something like "Because you're mine." or "Because I really want you." instead of "I dunno." as the answer to the question "who r u to tell me to not leave and I have to listen". Anyway, I'm sure she's upset with me again because I can't work out what I'm supposed to work out.

The next couple of days are going to be great though. Sean's gone to his brother's for a couple of days. No moronic lectures about being lazy and never leaving the house for a couple of days. I'm not looking forward to him returning. Let's just hope something happens so he doesn't return.

Still no jobs...

I'm still having no real luck with jobs. I walked into town at about 9:45 to collect my epilepsy medication. I found two new ones when I was in town, however I only tried for one of the two. The other was a cleaning job that was only 2-3 hours a week. On minimum wage, that would only be like £10/£12 to £15/£18 a week, which isn't any more than I get for doing Betterware, and that's less hours than that. Why hire someone for only 2-3 hours a week? Hopefully, I'll get a call from Kellys about the job I applied for there. The job I tried for today was a bar staff job. However, according to them, they have all the staff they need. They should really remove the sign from the window if they have everyone they need. I left my name and number with them anyway. They said they'd contact me if anyone quits or something.

Not far from the pub was a dog named Ash who was behind a fenced off area. It seems that the dog likes people from the public playing with him/her. There's a sign on the house saying Ash wants to play catch with people. It's funny. Ash pushes the ball under the gate for people to pick up and throw back to him/her. It's amusing. I threw the ball to Ash just once, but plenty of other people were also doing it. It's such an adorable dog.
