Chat mistakes

I'm more than sure I've lost a friend in Leila now. Why? Yesterday, she was telling me that she'd broken a nail, and is hoping it grows back in time to do naughty things with her ex (or no longer ex...I'm not sure), Jessie. She likes to scratch and draw blood, finding it exciting. That's not something that sounds remotely exciting to me. I told her that. She was then telling me that we need to get me laid, and was telling me about her friend. Unsure of what to say, I just put "lol", and this appeared to have angered Leila. Kept asking me for a reason for why I would do that, and after saying several times that I didn't know what to really say, she got angry that I was laughing at her friend...finding her amusing. Surely I'm not the only person who has typed "lol" or something like that when they're completely unsure of what to say.

I just logged into Yahoo! Messenger to see three offline messages from Leila. Here's what she said.

Leila: running away isn`t acting like you don`t hate me
Leila: so you obviously do hate me. I must be too ugly to be your friend. Another guy who only cares about how a person looks instead of who they are as a person
Leila: sorry I ever believed you were a good friend. Guess I overstepped by boundaries

Seriously? What has me logging off got to do with looks? I'm not all that attractive myself. The last thing I would do is judge someone on the way they look. Anyway, after reading all of that, I'm fairly certain I have one less friend. You've gotta love stupid mistakes. I replied to her message with the following. Having an angry kind of tone in these messages probably wasn't a good thing to do though.

Tidan: Do you really believe that? I didn't leave because I hate you, nor because of your looks. I see you as a friend. I left because I fucking hate hurting you, and when you get annoyed with me, I really don't know what to do. I just feel like me being around is making everything worse. It's not cuz I hate you or anything like that. I just never know what to say after saying something stupid cuz it seems like anything I do say just makes EVERYTHING worse.
Tidan: Anyway, hate me if you like. I'm sorry I've been a fucking jerk...

I think if anyone hates anyone, she hates me. I don't hate her at all. I do make some stupid mistakes though, and no matter what I say after the mistake, I seem to just make everything a lot worse. Hopefully, she'll forgive me for that stupid "I dunno what to say "lol"". However, if she can't...well, the friendship was good while it lasted...
