Not the greatest day...

I haven't been having the greatest day today at all.

I logged onto the Net at about 7:00 to check if my girl, Lacey, was online. She was, however, I never got a single word out of her. I heard from a couple of people in the room that she was talking before I'd entered, and was talking about how she hates moobs. Not too sure on how long before I entered that was, but she definitely wasn't talking after I entered, and instead left.

A couple of days ago when I was talking to her, she told me in an IM that she wasn't really in the mood to talk, and since then hasn't said a word to me, which makes me wonder if I've done something to badly upset her. If I have, I can't work out what it is, and I don't keep Yahoo! chat records on my computer, so I can't look back at my conversations with her to see if I've said anything wrong. Then again, maybe it's nothing I've said, and is instead something someone else said about me. For example, maybe some dickhead in the room that I don't get along with said I've been cheating on her with another girl or something, and she bought it.

For the past couple of days now, I've been extremely worried about her, and I'd really love to know if I've done something to upset her. The sad thing is, if I have, and if she's not going to talk to me, how am I going to find out what I did wrong? How am I going to be able to apologise for whatever it is?

I can only hope that she'll talk to me and tell me what is wrong, or hope she'll answer someone else in the room so I can get the problem revealed by them.

When I went out with Richard to help out with the TSOP Project, I was told by Richard that the two contracts he'd had with two different companies were now cancelled, meaning that I won't be taking over the computer side of stuff currently because he wouldn't be able to pay me for it. That was the other thing that made today extremely bad. He said he'd most likely still give me a job if I want to keep coming along to help, but it may not be in computing afterall, and may instead be something like a Grounds Keeper at the project. I told him it'd be ok, because it's not like I'd get anything better around the Looe area. Around here, I'd most likely either be doing either retail work, or cleaning work...if I could get anything.

It would be perfect if he could get me work in working with computers, but if he can't, Grounds Keeper wouldn't be any different to work I've already done in the past. I'm most likely going to be getting a job out of this in some form, just may not be in the form that I would ideally like.

Parrot - Executed

I am totally shocked by a picture and article that a friend had shared from another user on Facebook.

Although I won't be posting the picture here, I will post the article here for you all to read, and possibly share your thoughts on it.

The dog was named Parrot.
This was taken moments before Parrot was murdered by the cop. The cop drove his knee into the middle of Parrot's back while stretching Parrot's forelegs behind him, as one would do with an armed criminal. Without waiting to determine whether this technique would calm Parrot, the cop grabbed Parrot, lifted him off the ground, and brought him to the top of the concrete staircase.

He threw Parrot over the banister, down twelve steps, and onto the concrete floor. Then, the cop stood at the top of the stairs, drew his weapon, and executed Parrot. Aaron, the animal's owner, cannot recall the number of shots fired. Witnesses state that Parrot was not harming anybody and was simply frightened by the cop. At no time did Parrot try to bite the officer, all he did was start barking.

It doesn't matter if you are a part of an Occupy movement, PETA, Republican, Democrat, Independant Religious or not, if you are a part of the human race this should be a wake up call that something is very wrong with our society.

Isn't brutally killing animals something that most Serial Killers do right before they switch to killing humans?

I found some of the comments posted on this article even more shocking.

A lot of people, like myself, have posted comments saying they're completely disgusted with what the cop did. However, one guy, Andy Gray, had posted several comments sort of saying that the cop was right to do what he did. Just so you all can see, I'll post his comments (and some of the reactions to his comments).

Andy Gray sorry to be the one who says it but kill of be killed the dog showed some aggression, it seen him and as ANY dog Could have gone for for him and attacked him i love dogs but they are ALL wolves no matter what and can all bite and kill

Tamara So if a person shows "SOME AGGRESSION," he or she should shot rather than restrained?? DUMB!

Andy Gray but you cant tell what a dog will do . . . . a human is more predictable Humans are more "predictable"? I wouldn't say ANYONE is predictable. Humans are probably LESS predictable than any animal. Not sure if I'm alone on that thought, but that's what I think personally.

Tamara You must not know many people.

Shari ok so the cop held him now ok then why pick him up and throw him down the steps and shot him he was holding him why not get the owner or something thats un called for

Andy Gray no you just look at animals as cute things but reality they are wolves they will have no hesitation to bite if they feel they need to defend them selfs . . . . . thats why they have teeth

Tamara Humans make decisions, dogs are instinctual.. DUH!!!!

Shari parrot didnt deserve to die

Andy Gray i am not saying he deserved ! i love dogs i have dogs but you cant trust them fully. any dog could go beezerk, whats to say parrot couldnt of gone beezer after the owner calmed him down ?

Tamara Really, Do you know anything about Pitbulls?? Obviously NOT!! You CAN NOT shoot one in the head directly because like the alligator, there is a SMALL portion of the skull that can be penetrated ONLY.. Knowing this, one would question WHERE that BULLET COULD HAVE GONE?? Maybe into you?? Or me?? or a child?? Educate yourself before you wreck yourself.. Whoops.. Too late!

Shari RIP sweet parrot god bless you really really didnt deserve this to happen to you and i hope something gets done abt it

Andy Gray shari - well that dog could of been put on a leesh then it pull away and go for someone and once its got a hold of anyones neck then it gets shot. is it now right to shoot the dog ?

Tamara - yeah i know alot about pitbulls . . . . my mums mate rescues staffy bull which the american pit bull is bread from but the american pit bull is an illegal breed where i am from becasue in there nature of it. im quite sure that if i bullet was shot to its head no bone in the world could stop a bullet i do anatomy and physiology and no bone can stop a bullet

I am only saying the cop might of though the dog would turn on him after he treated it (not saying it was the best way to treat the situation) but maby he knew dogs are aggressive animals and will bite

Tamara Point well taken.. But holding this dog down and clearly over reacting is what the issue is in the USA right now.. Where you are from, the police DO NOT CARRY GUNS>.. Enough said.

It's amazing to think that anyone could say that the cop was doing the right thing when he threw the dog down the stairs and shot it. How is it right? Someone please explain how mercilessly killing anything is "right"...

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Now, I know that there are quite a few Resident Evil fans out there who are hating how the game is turning out so far. I had the game suggested to me on Amazon UK, so curious, I decided to check out demos/trailers of it on YouTube.

After reading the description of the game on Amazon, I realised I'd already heard of the game. In it, you play as an Umbrella operative, and you have the option of kill Leon S. Kennedy. It's clear from this that the game is NOT canon, and this is simply a "what if..." scenario.

Several comments on YouTube videos I've decided to check out are already saying the game is crap just because of the style. Basically, it's a third-person shooter...or as some people in the comments have called it - Resident Evil: Call of Duty. Never played Call of Duty myself, and I have no plans at all to do so. I do, however, want to play Operation Raccoon City. I love the old Resident Evil games, and this one looks interesting from what I've watched.

Here are some of the videos of the game that I have watched.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - SDCC 11: Campaign Gameplay Part I
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - SDCC 11: Campaign Gameplay Part II
Resident Evil : Operation Raccoon City - Official Captivate 2011 Trailer [HD]

I bought two new games recently. The Adventures of Tintin - The Secret of the Unicorn, and Batman - Arkham City.

Tintin turned out to be a platformer game, and was pretty fun to play, although it was a pretty short game. Only took me about three hours to complete. I'm sure it would have taken a lot less if the game didn't freeze up several times on me. There was only one place in which that happened, and I'm not too sure why it kept freezing up in that area. You get into a fight on a bridge, it breaks; you go tumbling down a steep rocky surface, then fall into some water. Around it, there are several platforms with enemies on them. That is the area where the game continually froze up. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may have something to do with how you knock out the enemies. The freeze ups tended to happen if I took out the guy on the far left of the screen, then dived back into the water to be able to sneak behind the only other guy carrying a gun in that area.

Someone will have to let me know if they've had the same freeze up, or if there's just something wrong with my copy of the game.

I'm not too far into Arkham City yet as I've been gliding around the city searching for side missions...just for fun! Definitely a great game though! A lot more fun that Asylum, which is a great game itself!

A Dismal Day

It's been such a dismal day outdoors today.

I'm not going to be doing any work with TSOP this week. We never actually got any work done today. Tomorrow and Wednesday, Richard and Peachy are going to be busy with other things, so there's no point in me attending unless I want to get extremely bored due to having nothing at all to do. As for Thursday and Friday? They're planning on just relaxing.

It appears that the weather forecast for the week is just going to be rain. It really does affect what you can do out on the field and all because no one really wants to be digging up extremely wet mud. Strangely enough, it's typical weather. Not because it's the UK, but because this week is a school half-term. It's typical weather for that kind of thing. Half-term comes around, and you're almost guaranteed awful weather, preventing the kids from actually really doing anything.

So, this week, I've got nothing at all to do really. All I can see happening this week is Sean bitching about how I'm lazy and don't do anything; telling me that I need to go out and find a job. I don't want to! I'm getting a job from Richard if I stick with this project, and it'll be in computing, something I actually WANT to do. I don't want another job in retail or cleaning if it's possible to get one in computing!

Tomb Raider - Pre-order?

Tomb Raider already available for pre-order? But why?

Yesterday, as I was checking my e-mail, I noticed one e-mail from Amazon UK letting me know that Tomb Raider is now available for pre-order. How is this possible though? If you're interested in the game, as I am, you'd have read in a lot of places that the game isn't being released until the third quarter of 2012. However, since it's available for pre-order on Amazon UK now, does this mean that the game is being released soon? If not, this has to be the first time I've ever seen a game available for pre-order almost a full year before the game is due to be released.

Sadly, there isn't a release date listed on Amazon UK, so it's not possible at this moment to tell if the game is still being released in the third quarter of 2012, or is being released soon. I would really love to know though.

Does anyone know of the exact release date for the game? Has a release date even been announced at all yet? All I've heard so far is third quarter 2012. That would suggest it'll be available for purchase sometime between the 1st July - 30th September 2012. I've not heard of a more narrowed down release date so far. Hopefully, someone has heard of an exact release date, or a much more narrowed down release date.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn

I recently looked up a trailer for the movie "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn". The reason? I was stuck in a room alone for a while at Richard's father-in-law's house. Richard, Peachy and myself all went there for a director's meeting, and I ended up being sent out of the room while they spoke about my role in The Street Outreach Project. I'm hopefully going to be taking over the computer side of things.

Anyway, while I was in the room alone, I picked up a paper that was laying on a nearby table and was browsing through it. Right at the beginning of the paper was a two page article about the Tintin movie that Steven Spielburg and Peter Jackson have been working on together. I ended up being real interested in seeing the movie, and thought to myself "I should look up a trailer of this when I get home on YouTube. I'm glad I see. The movie looks really funny and I definitely want to see it, despite all the comments on the trailer saying it looks like a huge pile of shit. I haven't really read the books, so I can't see what the problem with the movie is. Looks perfectly fine to me and looks like a great piece of entertainment.

It seems that there are more than one book mixed into the movie, but is that really such a huge problem? I'm going to have to check out the novels at some time, if I can find anywhere to get them from.

Here are some of the comments that are bad-mouthing the Tintin movie.

"they've also included the book where Haddock and Tintin become watered down stereotypes of themselves as if recreated by a 5 year old from a cursory glance, I believe that one was "Tintin and the Multiplex""

"although i love Spielberg and all i've read Tintin my whole life and this looks terrible"

"I'm afraid to say this looks f*cking awful"

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of things though. Question is, how many people are going to see the negative remarks and think "Alright. I'm definitely not going to see this." instead of forming their own opinion?

Move out...now!

Once again, I'm being told by Mom to move the hell out of the house and get my own place because it's unfair on my youngest brother to share a room with someone. I just hope I can move out to Lostwithiel and be near the project and all soon, as Richard has suggested to me a few times. Been told I can either move to Lostwithiel with him, or remain in Looe and get a train pass to get to Lostwithiel. At this point, I think the answer is pretty obvious. I wanna move out to Lostwithiel. That way, I'd be away from Mom's asshole boyfriend, and Mom can be extremely happy that she doesn't have me around anymore. Question is, will it all work out? I certainly hope so. I know for sure I need to be living near someone I know incase something bad happens to me, and I want to be living away from the regular stress I get here.

Although, in Sean's mind, what do I have to be stressed about? I'm not ladened with bills and all. Well, Sean, have you ever consider that you're the bulk of the fucking stress? You're certainly not helping anything, that's for sure.

What would Joan Jett do?

Referring back to my entry "Deep emotional issues? I'm not the one to talk to...", it made me think. The friend I was referring to in it is a HUGE fan of Joan Jett, and has quoted in the past the line "What would Joan Jett do?". It made me wonder, if you're a fan of a strong person like that; if you want to be like that person, then where is the thinking "What would Joan Jett do?"?

If Joan Jett were to hit rock bottom, do you honestly think that her only options would be to smoke or to cut? Personally, I don't think so. I'm not really a Joan Jett fan myself, but I know that she is a strong person. Put yourself in her shoes. I've thought about it with people like Lara Croft and all. All these strong people would not resort to cutting or smoking in my mind. But, I guess in a way, some people can't change; can't look up to their heroes and think responsibly.

Sadly, I think by not understanding her, I've lost her as a friend. Is it for the better? For her, possibly. I hate losing friends, but maybe those friends I lose are better off without me. Less hassle for them. Just hope she's ok.

"There's no such thing as bi. You're gay!"

I've got to say, I am now convinced that Willy, a Yahoo! chat user who frequently visits 20's Love: 2 and 20's Love: 3, is the BIGGEST fucking idiot in existance. He started out by asking if this girl, Michelle, was truly bi, and then Willy got into an argument with her that being bi means you're gay. It doesn't matter if you like the opposite gender too, according to him, if you like the same sex, you're gay.

Here's how the conversation went -

everything_remainz_raw_yooo (08/10/2011 13:08:51): are you really bi ?
everything_remainz_raw_yooo (08/10/2011 13:09:06): have you been with girls before

everything_remainz_raw_yooo (08/10/2011 13:09:42): lol ive been inna threesome This line is a complete lie. Any regular visitor to these two rooms will know he's never been in a threesome. Never been with just ONE girl.

everything_remainz_raw_yooo (08/10/2011 13:19:45): OR BE BI AND NEGLECTIVE

Some of the conversation is missing because Michelle was talking to Willy on the mic, and I can't recall exactly what she said, but I just wanted to show how much of a complete idiot Willy is.

Deep emotional issues? I'm not the one to talk to...

I've just discovered that I am not the best person for some people to talk to about their problems. The reason? I've never been in the same situation as them, so can't possibly understand what they're going through.

I figure that because of this, I could just sign out of my main ID before I make anything worse. I'm sure I've already made things worse anyway, just by being online to talk to.

Anyway, I'm sorry for being an asshole about the situation you're in, and I know I'm not the person you wanna be talking to about the problems. You need someone who actually understands why you'd do those kinda things.

I had trouble sleeping last night. I had a bit of a stuffed up nose, and my arms are sore from carrying several boards of plywood yesterday. Discovered that although it looks light enough, it's pretty damn heavy, and when you're not used to carrying that kind of weight, it soon hurts your arms. They're still sore from yesterday. It's a good thing I have three days to recover from that.

Monday, I won't be going with Richard out to the farmland because there isn't going to be enough room in the car, so I won't be going again until Tuesday.

Apart from carrying all that plywood, and slipping all over the place because of the wet mud, Richard and I set up some computers in Restormal Lodge Hotel. The main reason we went there was to sort out their wifi because it'd gone out again. The first time we went to sort it out, the problem was that the router was switched off. Yesterday, the reason for it being out was because the phone wire had been disconnected from the router. Two simple, easy to fix problems in two days. Wonderful.

We set up two new computers for them too while we were there, and installed AVG Virus Scanner onto them. They seriously need Firefox or Google Chrome installed onto them as well because Internet Explorer is a pile of shit. No idea if we could've done that though. They may prefer to have IE on them, but I'd want Firefox or Chrome on them myself if it was my choice, but it isn't.

Shake it off!

Not much to this entry. Just a simple note from a friend's Facebook page. Enjoy!

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from God.

"Fuck this..."

I had a much shorter day of helping out Richard today.

His daughter, Abby, went into school in tears because she was hurting, so Richard called the doctor to make an appointment for her. The appointment wasn't until about 11:40, so we had a bit of time to do some stuff...or avoid doing some stuff.

We went back to do this old lady's garden again today, try to finish it off, and she just added more work onto it. Yesterday, we'd weeded some of the garden, and dug up several concrete blocks which were moved to the top of her garden. Today, she tells us she doesn't want the blocks anymore and asked if we could take them away. This would involve carrying several blocks all the way BACK down the garden, and around to the front of the house to dump into the trailer, which was full of several other blocks from yesterday. Richard and I emptied the trailer of the blocks it already contained at the farmland, and after that, we were both like "Fuck this.", and decided to go do other things...anything just to get away from moving these blocks.

So, we went all the way down to St Austell to collect several plants, which Richard had been planning to do for quite a while now. After that, I suggested that we go to this hotel where he's meant to be sorting out some computer stuff for a guy named Steve. He thought that was a good idea after dropping off the plants at the farmland. It turned out that Steve wasn't there today, and we'd managed to pick the one day he wasn't at work.

Eventually, after wasting enough time, we went back to the old lady's place, did about 10 minutes of leveling out the soil in her garden, then left again because it was about time for his daughter to go and see the doctor. She saw him, then wanted to go home instead of going back to school, which is what we did. It was great not having to haul all those blocks out of her garden. I'm sure that old lady isn't going to be too happy about it, but then, neither are we. Richard only quoted like £25 for the job, and doing all this extra shit, it really requires her to pay more money, or just forget the whole thing. No one should have to haul all that shit and stuff for £25.

Richard admitted he'd made a mistake by only quoting £25 for it, and should've thought about it some more. However, it was the first time he ever had to quote a price on something, and he wasn't too sure on how much work it was actually going to be.

Act your age! No!

I had quite a laugh today. Got to Richard's place, and surprised him because I don't think he was expecting me to show up since I'd forgotten to call him yesterday and tell him I'd be coming along. Read through a plan he's come up with, which was a plan to build some garden furniture and sell it, and hopefully it'll raise some of the money needed for the project.

Left there and went to the farmland to let his 2 dogs have a run around the place for a bit...where he said "If you have any ideas, please share them.", so I told him all about this joke sprinkler idea I came up with when I was talking to my baby yesterday. He seemed to think it would be a good idea, although a little naughty. Some parents probably wouldn't be too happy about it.

We then had to leave the farmland to weed some old lady's back garden for about an hour or two, then left again for the farmland and sat around for a bit having lunch. Went back to the old lady's place again to continue the weeding, and as it was getting toward the end of the day, Richard and Darren decided to have a mud fight...totally covering each other in mud. I just stood back and watched, laughing.

It was great listening to him explaining to parents why he was covered in mud. It definitely shows that Richard is one of those older guys who is not afraid to act immaturely, which is always great. People like Mom's boyfriend are just a pain to deal with. You get lecture after lecture about how childish you're acting and all. I'm so fucking tired of listening to it.

On the way home, Richard had asked me if I was claiming benefit money. I told him I wasn't, but keep getting told by Sean and Mom to claim unemployment, which I don't want. He actually understands why I wouldn't want to claim that. Go on to claim that, and you're forced into doing shit you don't want to do. I'm glad to see that someone older than me actually understands the reason WHY I don't wanna claim it. I don't want the hassle of the shit that comes with it...especially since last time resulted in the crash which left me with the fucking problems I have now.

Why aren't there more older people who fucking understand why someone like me would NOT wanna claim unemployment? The money would be useful, but it's not worth all the hassle that comes with it. Not at all.

I took some pictures of the farmland this project is taking place on, and I figured it would be good to take more pictures as the project progresses, showing how it does from a completely overgrown mess into something great. I'll upload those later on.

Linked minds?

I just had a HUGE laugh with my girlfriend, Lacey, in an IM on Yahoo! I started off by asking her to guess something, and amusingly, that lead to us somehow being on the same wavelength. Here's how the conversation went, for those few lines at least.
tidanlikida: Gueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess what!
Suductive Eyes: what
tidanlikida: I LOVE YOU!
Suductive Eyes: i love you<3
tidanlikida: ;))
Suductive Eyes: ;))
tidanlikida: :))
Suductive Eyes: :))
Suductive Eyes: omg
It's great to be on the same wavelength as the one you love! Also gives you both something to laugh about.
I seriously can't wait to be here. It'll be even more amusing if we ended up doing the same in person, although we would look kind of crazy doing it in public then bursting out laughing hard because of it.
