Oops. I think I may have just made a big mistake. Someone came to the door and knocked. I didn't get to it in time, but I did see the guy walking away. His work friend noticed me in the window and pointed, at which point the guy came back. Placing the dogs in the lounge, I open the door. What does the guy want? He asked if he could take the oven that has been outside of the house for a few months now. I shrugged and said "Sure.", then I noticed them loading it onto the truck. "Erm...oops.", I think to myself.
I didn't actually realize he was asking to take the oven. Shows how awake I was. I thought he asked "Can we take the scrap metal you have in the corner there?". It's not like we have a need for scrap metal. But, after they'd loaded it on the truck, I realized it wasn't "scrap metal". Hopefully, no-one will care that it's gone. Afterall, it's been there for months. It's not old, but somehow, after being rained on and such, I doubt it would work without some repair from an electronics specialist.

Shock horror
It's been 5 years, and I wasn't even aware. Someone I knew in school, Adam Dudley, was killed locally in a car crash. How did I find out about it? Someone else I knew in school had posted a status wishing him a happy birthday, and also added "R.I.P." to it.
Curious, I commented asking what had happened. Emma told me all about it. Supposedly, he went through the windscreen and was killed. If he were still alive, he would've been 27 today.
Well, Adam, happy birthday, and R.I.P. :(

Old look Dante no longer "cool"
The announcement of DmC was completely overshadowed by the revelation that Dante had been given a complete makeover, complete with darker hair, darker clothes, and a twink face. Many people called the look "emo" because they don't know what that word means, while some of us quite liked it. Now Ninja Theory has responded.
"The essence of Devil May Cry is all about 'cool,'" says creative director Tameem Antoniades. "It's about Dante being cool and making you feel cool when you're playing it, and so the combat and the style system and everything is integral to that. But, you know, what was cool 12 years ago -- I think that was when the first game came out -- isn't cool anymore.
"If Dante, dressed as he was, walked into any bar outside of Tokyo, he'd get laughed out. What Devil May Cry did when it launched was it brought everything that was great about action cinema like the fashion, music -- it was like a cultural melting pot -- and I feel like now, for Devil May Cry to have that same impact, it needs to draw on new things. New music, new ways of cinematography, new fashion."
This is the first time where I have to voice disagreement with Ninja Theory. Dante, in my mind, was NEVER cool -- and that was the point! His overwrought attempts to look edgy and stylish ended up making the old Dante look incredibly camp and silly, and I loved him for it. Just watch Dante's cutscenes in DMC4 -- they're friggin' ridiculous in an awesome way. I still think the new Dante looks fine and I am super pumped for this game, but I don't think Dante has ever been "cool" in a traditional sense.
Also, let's face it ... the new Dante would get laughed out of ANY bar if he strolled in.
I read this today on Playfire when I saw an update about Devil May Cry. So, the whole reason he had a complete looks change is because people no longer think the way Dante ALWAYS looked is "cool"? How is this new Dante cool, really? Does smoking a cigarette and looking like a Twilight character really equal "cool" in the minds of people? That's...really pathetic.
Someone really needs to explain to me why he needs to be changed from classic Dante to this new Dante just to be considered "cool". Who cares if Dante from the past games is no longer cool? We all loved him for the way he is. He doesn't need a complete image change.

Gaming Social Networks
Yes. I am aware that I've posted about this once before. But, as I've looked around, I've found a bunch of them, several of which I've signed up to. Why? Because I'm really curious about which is the best of them to use. Currently, I would have to say that it's kind of a draw between Playfire, and gamerDNA. However, I'm going to make a list of all the possible sites there are. Note: This isn't EVERY Gaming Social Network that is out there. I'm sure there are many more that people can find.
Playfire.
gamerDNA.
Pwned.com.
Gamefriends.
The Backloggery.
Rupture.
If you have had a wide selection of games, and wish to list them all, I'd recommend signing up for Playfire as they seem to have pretty much every console covered.
If anyone is signed up to The Backloggery, they'll have to let me know what that's like as they're no longer accepting registrations. Also, any other recommendations, let me know.
Does anyone know what happened to Rupture anyway? I've checked it several times, only to get the following message.
How long has it been like this, and does anyone have any idea when it's coming back because I would like to try it out?

Rupture is down for maintenance. We are making upgrades to our platform so we can continue delivering quality service to gamers all over the world. Thanks for your patience, please check back soon!

Devil May Cry 5 - What the hell?
I've got to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the way Dante appears in this trailer for Devil May Cry 5. What the hell did Capcom do to the guy!? Where's the classic image that we all came to know and love?
I didn't even realize there was a DMC5 until I received a notification about it on Playfire. After I'd read that this is meant to be a reboot, and several people complaining about his look, I just had to check YouTube for a trailer of it. I now understand why people are complaining. This "Dante" doesn't resemble the Dante we all know from DMC 1-4. Ok. I haven't played the 4th game, but I know his look well enough from the first three games, and he definitely did not look like that. I'll admit, he still have the same kind of attitude, but it sure doesn't look like him. As someone said in the comments about it on YouTube "this Dante looks like a reject from Twilight".

Gaming
This isn't going to be of interest to a few people who usually read this, but anyway, today, while looking at a forum, I noticed someone had a signature that linked to a site called Backloggery. What is it? Well, it's a site that allows gamers to keep track of games they own and such, and show other gamers what they've completed and are playing etc. Interested, I tried to sign up for the site, only to be told that they no longer accept registrations as of 6th August 2010 because they were supposedly getting too many. They are going to bring it back at some point, but have stated that if they do, it may be by an invite only basis. So, unless you know someone using the site, there's a possibility that you may never be able to register for this site. Disappointing.
I went to Google and decided to search for sites that were similar to it. Immediately, I came across Playfire, which I registered for. I've got to say I'm very happy with this site. I've added several games I own (as well as ones I don't anymore), and rated the games as well as listed which I'm currently playing, which I've completed and such. One great thing is they have games from tons of consoles. Amiga and everything. I've added several games that I did have on Amiga, and listed them mostly as completed because I did complete alot of these games before I got rid of the Amiga and all. Clearly, my "Game Collection" on there is going to be huge after I list all the games I played and completed as a kid on my Amiga 500 and all. Haha. It's definitely going to show how busy I was as a kid with that console.

Amazing woman
I've got to say I've met one hell of an amazing female on OkCupid lately. She's a goth (total bonus). I can't remember exactly how I came across her on OkCupid, whether it was a Quiver Match, or just a random search. However, whatever it was, I'm grateful for it. I don't think I've come across someone quite as amazing on there before.
So far, her and I have quite a bit in common. No real friends locally, enjoy video games like Final Fantasy, have similar tastes in music. I'd love to meet her, even if it's just as friends, although more would be great also.
I've completely lost Sharlet as a friend now. Last time, I didn't think it would be all that serious and that she'd forgive me for what I said, or apologize to me. However, she's deleted me off of Facebook and everything. Not seen her on Yahoo! or anything lately either. I assume that either she's not signing into chat anymore, or she's put me on ignore on everything now. So, that truly is the end of that friendship. Well, although she won't be reading any of this, let's just hope that everything in her life works out for her. It is a little sad that the friendship has ended after all these years though. But eh, what can you do?
Not too much else has been happening lately. I think I may have had an epileptic seizure a couple of days ago, but I'm not 100% sure on that because if it happened, it happened while I was sleeping and no-one was home. My only clues to it was that I woke up with a splitting headache (usually happens after one), and my bed covers were a complete mess. That was the only indications I may have had one. My tongue was hurting for a couple of days because I think I may have bitten it during this possible seizure. When I told a couple of people it was hurting, they'd assumed that I had gotten my tongue pierced. Haha. That's one thing I'd never do.
Recently, I've been watching recordings of old video games I once owned, as well as ones that seemed a little interesting that I've never played before. Games like Another World, Heart of Darkness and such. It's fun watching them for the memories.

The end of a friendship.
Anyone who read my last entry would probably know that I upset a friend of mine, Sharlet, when I told her the truth about what was required to become a vet. She asked me if she could become a vet with just a bachelor's degree. The answer I'd found had stated that to become a vet, you'd have to do a 4 year bachelor's degree in a college or something, then 4 years in vet medical school. Since it was more than just the bachelor's degree, she felt discouraged, saying it was pointless to do it then. Honestly, I wished I'd just lied and told her "Yes. You can.". At least then she wouldn't be discouraged and ready to just give up. But, I have to say I'm not surprised at the "I give up" reply. It happens alot when something she wants to do isn't as easy as she'd like it to be.
Spoke to my friend, Cherry, about it, and she said "I think that if you really want to be someone, no matter how hard it is or no matter what other people tell you, you would never give up.". She's right though. If Sharlet was really serious about becoming a vet, or anything else, she wouldn't give up just because the truth is harder than you would've liked.
Here's how the conversation went...

God...I'm beginning to wonder if I've done something to upset alot of people since people seem to be avoiding chatting to me. I know I've more than likely upset Sharlet. She wanted help finding out if she could become a vet with just a bachelor's degree, and when I told her the answer I got from one website, she felt very discouraged about it all since the answer had that it was require a 4 year bachelor's degree, then 4 years of vet medical school. Honestly, I wish I'd lied and just told her "Yes.", so she wouldn't be discouraged about it all. I even told her that before signing off because I really wanted to snap, but I can't snap at a friend. I'd feel awful for it if I did.
I have no idea why others aren't talking to me though. Asked Holly what was up with her, and she said that life sucks, but isn't saying anything more. Audrea appears to be ignoring me completely. What the heck did I do?

4chan - Don't mess with a higher power!
I'm a little bored, and also tired. Anyway, I was looking through the 4chan archives at /b/'s Moar Epic Threads, when I came across this picture, which I definitely have to say IS worthy of the word "Epic".
Now, I'm not a Christian myself, but you do have to admit that this is a pretty epic post for challenging a higher being; in this case, God.
I'm sure that this screen shot of an epic thread WOULD be of great interest to any Christians. Then again, it may also be interesting to people who are into the paranormal too.
Not much is really happening today. I didn't really get alot of sleep because I needed to do something early this morning. Set my alarm so I wouldn't miss waking up to do it. So, at 6:00, I was woken up by my alarm. I got up, sorted out the Betterware catalogs to be delivered, and left to deliver them. I got a little annoyed as I was going around because of seagulls flying around where-ever I was walking, screeching the kind of noise they usually make when they're about to attack. I had to watch my back for a while because of that.
Later today, Mom is taking Bryn to Plymouth to watch The Sorcerer's Apprentice in the cinema. Not sure if we're all going. The movie starts at about 18:35 I think. But honestly, all I want to do is fall asleep. I actually think I'm going to do just that as soon as I'm done with this entry. I know I could probably go see the movie too, but I have no idea if I'll even be able to stay awake through the movie. I'll probably fall asleep about 10 minutes into it. Haha.
More things have gone missing in the house too. Yesterday, Mom's boyfriend, Sean, took £3.50 out of his pocket and put it on the table next to his bed. About 5 minutes later, he went back to pick it up and it'd vanished. Who was the last person in the room? Bryn. Yet again, Bryn denied taking it. But, I'm more than sure he's the one taking everything. He was always asking to play on the Nintendo DS, and after several refusals of letting him borrow mine, it disappears. He was asking Sean for some money to buy some "Voodoo Doll" little figures from a store in town. Sean told him no over and over to it. Next thing you know, the money has disappeared. Is it all "just a coincidence" that the things go missing after Bryn gets refused the stuff? I don't think so.

Life in Flash
I know. Not everybody has a life like this, but I'm sure alot of people know what this sort of life is like. Recently, on Newgrounds, I found a Flash animation called Jerry. This turned out to be a rather depressing kind of Flash, especially when you know the kind of life style that this character lived. However, not everyone will consider the same "ending" as Jerry did in the animation. I know I haven't, even if life does seem a little dull at times. Check out the series if you're interested. Below, the links are posted in the order they were released. It will make more sense to watch them in the correct order.
Jerry.
Jerry and the Closet.
Jackie.
Junior.
Jerry:The End.
You may notice in the comments on these videos that people state that the animations are funny/humorous. Personally, I didn't see much comedy in most of them. I guess you could say that there IS a dark sense of humor in them. I didn't really laugh though because I kind of know the sort of life that Jerry was going through. Repetitive, with no real luck in anything. I wouldn't take the same ending as Jerry though. I'm not the type of person who would just give up like that.
Anyway, I hope anyone who takes a look at the animations will enjoy them as I did.

Moving out?
It turns out that Mom's boyfriend, Sean, is moving out of the house to get his own place again. I have no idea what the actual reason behind it is, but as usual, we're all getting the blame for it from Mom.
So, why is it our fault? Because we apparently don't talk to him enough. I'll admit that I don't talk to him alot, but that's because I don't really know him and it's hard to talk about anything with someone you see daily sort of if you don't know what their interests are. I mean, I could talk about things I like, such as video games and all, but I'm sure that would just bore him because he's not really into that stuff as far as I can tell. I will talk to him if he's talking to me about something, but I never start a conversation with him because I don't want to bore someone with something they have no interest in. I already had that kind of experience with a friend online, Heather. I was talking to her about Shadow Hearts: Covenant and about how some moments made me feel real sad. She didn't care. This is one reason I rarely start up a conversation with anyone offline. If someone really wants to talk to me, they'll start the conversation. I'm not doing it to be rude, but I don't want to bore someone to death with something they don't care about.
I also overheard Mom saying something about how Sean never invites his friends over because he's scared that we'll scare them off. How are we going to do that? He's had friends over a few times, and they usually go out into the garden and smoke/do drugs and chat. If they were really scared of us, why have they come over several times?
Anyway, because he's supposedly moving out, Mom is real depressed, like the relationship is over or something. He's not breaking up with her. He's just moving to his own place. We're not TELLING him to move out. It's his own choice. If he wanted to stay, he could. I don't think us being here would really affect how he feels for Mom, would it? If it does, then I would say he truly doesn't love her.
