Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. Great movie, but it does raise a question about fuel. If it's a scarce source in the waste land, and the gangs wage war for a tank of fuel, then why do they drive around and around the one place where there is fuel being permanently refined? They're wasting tons of fuel driving around it constantly. Why not keep the vehicles still and stop wasting the fuel?
Maybe I'm missing something while watching it. Someone will have to explain what I'm missing if there IS a reason to drive around and around constantly. Explain if there's a reason they waste fuel.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who's wondered this.
Also, what happened to the person who played the feral kid in the movie? I looked at his IMDB, and he basically disappeared completely in the 90s. Does anyone know where he is? What is he doing now? Clearly, he isn't acting anymore, at least, not in movies or on TV since nothing is listed. Maybe he acts on stage or something.
