Earthquakes, big freezes, killer flus; is 2012 truly going to be the end of the world?
In the past few days, I've read in the newspaper that this week, the UK is supposed to be having a heatwave of 83° F, followed by a big freeze next week. Will it really happen? Who knows.
I also read today in another paper that a killer flu is going to be hitting the UK.
No earthquakes have hit the UK, but I do know that there have been a couple in the USA, and other parts of the world too. If you're a believer in the end of the world stuff, all of this stuff will probably lead you to the conclusion that it truly IS the end of the world coming to light. I, however, do not believe that the world is going to end. All these things, in terms of the end of the world, are just rediculous coincidences.
If I'm wrong, then everyone can yell at me next year when the world is gone. Oh, wait...if it were gone, no one would be able to. So, I guess in a way this is a win/win situation for me. If I'm right, no one can complain. If I'm wrong, no one can complain.
So, what does everyone else believe? Do you believe the world is truly going to end in 2012, or do you think it's all stupidity?
