Interesting day

Had a rather amusing day today. I went to meet Richard, who I'd met at the fish & chip shop just down the road from me, but I wasn't too sure where to meet him at first. So, I was stood around the approximate area he said to go to, and waited, hoping I didn't miss him. Luckily, I didn't, and he was running late.

I got a lift from him to the project he is running, and was shown around and told what they were planning to do. They're planning on building a garden, farmyard stuff, a club house for people to hang out in and all. For anyone interested, here is the website for the project, which explains some of the things they are hoping to accomplish. Currently though, it's just a huge overgrown mess.

I helped out a while while I was there, doing some digging, as well as helping them hang up a gate. Not the biggest leap forward in the project, but it got it a tiny bit further.

I may be going out there with Richard again on Monday to help with some stuff again, and some computer stuff was mentioned by him while I was in the car with him, so hopefully I'll get to do a little bit of computer work.

Richard seems like an extremely nice guy, and has said that if I keep coming along, he may pay for webhosting for me, which means I'll be able to have an official website for the webcomic I'm planning. All that I need now would be to improve my art if he does that for me. I'll have the website, all that would need improving is artwork. It helps me quite a bit. Real nice of him to do that for me if he does.

I swear one of the guys who I met today, a guy Richard calls Peachy, runs on Energizer batteries or something because Richard, Darren, and myself kept taking breaks (it was hot and tiring), but Peachy just seems to be able to keep going and going and going. He'd be good in a commercial for Energizer batteries.

Darren kept wanting Richard to get girls there, and at one point, I joked with Richard that we should bring back a couple of old ladies for Darren, then see what he says.
