It doesn't appear that my problem with voice chatting on Yahoo! with friends is going to be solved at all. I did order a headset, as well as a separate microphone to make it possible to play music through my speakers to play to people in the chatroom if I felt like it, as I've done that a couple of times with the microphone on my broken webcam. I don't think the sound quality of it is that great though.
The headset and mic arrived today, but my brother decided to keep them in his room where I can't get at them as a sort of "punishment" for me spend Mom's money to get them, as well as 3 games. I'm going to pay her back for them, and she knows that as I'd given her back about £7 of the £67 I spent so far. I'll slowly pay her back the rest. But, if he's going to keep them, then I guess all I really owe her is £37. I'm not gonna pay for things that I can't have. My brother can give her the money for it instead, and I'll have to work out how to save money for another headset and mic. What a pain. Anyway, Mom can blame him for me keeping her up at night when I have voice on since I'll have to continue to play everything through the speakers.
