Had a fun day yesterday, as well as a day of disappointment, as I'm sure readers of my last two entries should have noticed by now.
At about 15:00, my father showed up to bring my brother his birthday present (his birthday is today), which I currently have in my bedroom still. He also spent a little bit of time with us. We went out to Hannifore to play a couple of games of mini-golf. We played in teams of two when we went out there. Dad was teamed up with his friend, who I think was named Jane, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I was teamed up with my sister, and my brother was teamed up with my younger brother. Who won? Well, my two brothers won the first game, and in the second one, my brothers, as well as me and my sister drew the game. Dad and Jane lost with the least points in both games.
We said good bye to them, and went home. After an hour or so of waiting and not doing a whole lot, it was time for the next thing.
18:00 rolls around. We all get into my brother's car, and we head off to the Carbeille Inn at Torpoint. My cousin was hosting a BBQ, and invited me via Facebook about a week or two ago. So, we all went together. I got to see the place for the first time. I've never been there before, so I honestly didn't know my way around. My uncle was cooking the burgers and all, so I got a plain burger from him. (Plain being just a burger in a bun. No sauces or cheese or nothing.) I also had a glass of cola and we all just sat outside and consumed the food and drink.
Then we moved inside, and we all went to where the pool table was at. We had a few games of pool before leaving for home.
I can't say it was the greatest time ever. There was nothing wrong with the BBQ at all, but I wasn't 100% with it because of scenery zooming by as my brother drove there fairly quickly. Because of my epilepsy, for some reason, my eyes try to take in every little detail of things, and if it's all zooming by, my brain kinda can't handle it, and I feel like...dizzy, but also more alert. I probably seem like I'm kinda stoned or something because I doubt I look that normal when it happens.
At about 20:30, we were home again. Not much longer after that, I went to bed to get some sleep because I really couldn't snap myself out of the messed up feeling.
Apart from the disappointment of being lied to and scammed by "Robin", and the dizziness/alertness feeling, yesterday was actually a really good day.
I need to go out and deliver a few Betterware catalogs now, but I'll return later with a short entry, linking to "Robin" on OkCupid. I feel people in the UK should know about her and know to completely avoid her and her "I need money" scam.
