It's a boy!

I got a call from Mom at about 17:45 today to tell me that my sister had her baby today at 16:27. It's about two months early though as the due date was meant to be some time in October.

She went up into hospital yesterday, although at the time I had no idea what the reason was for her going to hospital. Today, I found out the reason was because her blood pressure was extremely high. Because of this, they ended up delivering her baby today by c-section.

She's naming the kid (it's a boy) Phoenix.

I'm sure that, because of this, I'm going to end up doing my sister's paper round for more than two weeks. If this is the case, I really hope that the weather is NOTHING like it was today. I had no idea where a lot of the houses were on her paper rounds because I've never gone around with her or anything. I was out in the pouring rain because of this for about two hours, and couldn't locate two of the houses. In the end, I gave up and walked home, changing my clothes immediately. I refused to go back out in it, so three people would have to miss out on their papers; the two houses I couldn't locate and one paper that was missing from the pile.

If I have to do this for two or more weeks, I really do not want the weather to be like it was today everyday.

I sent messages to both of my cousins on Facebook (well, actually my cousin Grahame, and my cousin Michael's girlfriend Jo.) telling them about it. However, I signed the message with my Mom's name, regardless of it being on my account since it was her who wanted to tell them. She couldn't reach either by phone, so the Facebook messages were the next option and since she doesn't use Facebook and all, I sent the message she wanted to tell them via my Facebook.
