2 or more weeks of hell

I was watching the first Final Destination movie yesterday (the best movie out of ALL of them), and before watching, I decided to look up information about the movie. This is when I found out an interesting fact about the movie. Originally, the script was written for the X-Files, which I could totally see happening. It would have actually been a really interesting X-Files case for Mulder and Scully to investigate. However, it was decided that the script would be a lot better for a movie.

I'm sure any X-Files fans would be able to see that it could have totally been an X-Files episode, just as I could.

I was shown an amusing videos about Macs yesterday. It was posted in the chatroom I was in after I asked who Mac was (I thought he was talking about a person, not the Apple computers). So, for anyone up for a bit of amusement, check out Why Macs Suck.

I know that several people who own Macs and like them will not agree with the video, and most likely will not see the humor in it. Personally, I know I would never wanna own a Mac. I am MUCH happier with a PC. They're easier to upgrade with new hardware and all. It's also easy enough to build your own computer from scratch, and make it as powerful as you'd like. Yes, I know there are limits on how powerful you can actually build a PC...limited to parts that are actually released, and there will always be more powerful parts released after you've built yourself a PC.

I woke up today to find that my six Scott Pilgrim novels had arrived. Now I get to read them and see how much of a difference there is between the novels and the movie.

Originally, I thought that the books had a completely different story from the movie. I wasn't aware that the movie was copying the story of the novels. I really should have looked into it at first. It wasn't a total shock to find out that the storyline was the same though. As I've probably said before, there are very little original movies anymore. Everything released lately has been remakes of classic movies, sequels to movies, or movies based off of video games, novels and TV shows. I'm not saying that because of this all movies are crap, because they aren't. The Harry Potter movies are great, but they're not original stories because they're based off of the books.

I'd actually like to know if there have actually been any original movies lately, because I can't think of a single movie lately that hasn't been a sequel, remake, or TV shows/book/comic/video game. Anyone care to name something that has been released within the past year or two that has been original?

I also found out today that my sister has been taken to the hospital, and may be there for a couple of weeks, leaving me to have to do her paper rounds. Why is she in hospital? Well, months ago, she got pregnant (I'm sure I've mentioned this), and I'm assuming that now it's getting real close to the time she will be having her kid. This is going to be such a pain in the ass for me because I have NO idea where the papers she delivers actually go. I think it's also going to be a pain in the ass for my Mom too, especially if the papers continue to arrive late like they have been lately. Clearly, if I'm going to be doing my sister's rounds, I am not going to, on top of that, do the one round that I usually do if the papers are late.

I am not going to enjoy the next couple of weeks at all.
