I went out today, with my siblings, to see the final Harry Potter movie. I've got to say, it was a highly enjoyable movie, and well worth watching if you enjoyed the previous movies. I'm sure if you're not a person who enjoyed them, then you most likely won't wanna go and see it.
Too bad the day was once again ruined by Sean.
Why do people like Mom's boyfriend, Sean, exist?
We got home and were immediately greeted by bitching and ordered to clean up everything. Sean then came upstairs saying he was getting it in the neck from Mom that our rooms are unclean and all. I'd call bullshit on that. He then went on to talking to my sister in this calm, patronising voice, angering her. He kept that same tone telling her there's no need to get angry etc, making it worse.
I'd love to know why people do that; why anger someone, in a patronising voice, and keep it up? Must be some kind of satisfaction in it for people like that...knowing you'll anger a person, and then keep it going to make it look like you're the better person, even though you know you're the reason why that person is now angry.
Luckily, I don't get angry at him. I know for a fact that he wants everyone to be angry to his face just so he can make himself look like the better person. It's worthless to get angry with someone like that. Clearly, in their mind, they win if they can get to you.
I know that people will probably say I'm angry with him because of all the stuff I say in blog entries about him, but there's the thing. They're in blog entries, not yelled out loud in his face. Yelling in his face gives him satisfaction because he knows Mom will hear it, and make him look like he's the better person.
I hate his guts, and anyone who knows me knows that. Honestly, everyone in my family, apart from Mom, hate him so much. Can you really blame them? Everyone knows at least one person like him; a person who will be a major hypocrite; a person who will talk in a calm, patronising voice just to make you lose your temper and make them look like they're the better person.
I just never really pay attention to him. He'll talk to me, and I'll just say "Uh huh. Yeah.". He's not worth the time to pay attention to.
