Games and Pranks

I never received any word from Richard yesterday after completely missing out on the project. It makes me wonder if I've annoyed him in some way by not showing up to the project yesterday due to my left eye. I honestly hope I haven't angered him. I know I annoyed one person with it, and that was Mom. She told me that having conjunctivitis was no reason to miss the project. But, I wouldn't have been any use if I did turn up as I'd have spent most of the day just trying to get my eye to stop hurting. Monday will be when I find out if Richard is angry with me. Here's to hoping he isn't.

I began playing Shadow of the Colossus yesterday (the PlayStation 2 version) because I had nothing else to do. The game has been sitting unopened for a while now, and I was really curious about it, so I opened it and placed it in my PS2. The game is amazing. The music is beautiful! Just climbing up the colossal monsters with that tune playing makes you feel like you're achieving something epic in scale. It's the kind of music I'd love to have playing in the background while building out at the youth project. Even moving a piece of light wood would make you feel like you're achieving something amazing, even though it's not that much of an epic thing.

If you've not played the game and therefore don't know the music I'm talking about, check out this video of the battle with Valus. Wouldn't you love to have that playing while you're working, to feel like everything you do is HUGE!?

Another game I began playing was a survival horror game called Obscure. That's a weird game. It's all set inside a school. The school is not one you'd want to be trapped inside of as one of the school staff, I think it was the principal, is experimenting on the unlucky students who get trapped inside the school after school is over for the day. Your characters become a part of this twisted experiment, and you must locate a cure before you become a monster yourself.

I'd never even heard of Obscure before seeing it in a YouTube video about the top...10 or 20 horror games. I forget if it was a Top 10 or a Top 20 list. So because of that, I can't link to the video. But, if you're interested in seeing the game, you can go onto YouTube and search for it.

I checked out a few comical videos on YouTube today, too, because my sister mentioned that one of the invisible rope pranks was featured on some TV show recently. I decided to look for that video again. I looked at some videos in the "related videos" part of the screen. Check out the videos below if you're interested.
