Save the NHS

Wow.

I just got an e-mail from Avaaz revealing that there are only a few days left to attempt to try and save the NHS (National Health Service) in the UK from being shut down by the Prime Minister.

Why would they want to shut down the NHS?

If they do shut it down, it'll mean that we brits will have to start paying for expensive health care, which I'm sure a lot of us, especially those like me who are unemployed, won't be able to afford. It'll leave people like myself with only very low level health care. This makes me wonder what will happen with medication too. If the NHS is shut down, will it mean that I'll have to also pay for my epilepsy medication? If so, I'm going to be kind of screwed because I'm not sure I'll be able to pay for it, and I need that medication.

If you can, please sign this petition and help us prevent the closure of the NHS.
