Fuelish Panic Risks Lives

With the panic continuing, how long will it be before the UK is in real trouble?

I noticed two different things in the newspapers this morning. Firstly that a mother had set herself alight with fuel that she had been told she should horde because of the panic. Secondly that the emergency services are in danger as several ambulances apparently had trouble responding to calls due to all this panic reducing fuel greatly; fuel that those services need more than others if you don't want to risk peoples' lives.

This shows exactly why you should NOT say anything about shortages of anything. People do not think logically about things, and all that ends up doing is putting thousands of lives at risk. How many lives are going to be gambled before people come to their senses and realize how fucking stupid they're acting!?

I'm not too sure if the woman who set herself alight is still alive, but that's the sort of thing we're risking with this panic. People injuring themselves or others, and if the people who are badly injured are dying, then they could be dead if ambulances and such can not reach them due to running out of fuel.
