Why do people always panic about things like fuel shortages?
Recently in the UK, there was an announcement that there may be a shortage of fuel soon. Well, they sure proved that correct since several hundreds of people ran to their local fuel stations, and probably beyond to buy as much fuel as they could in a panic. I can never understand why people do that.
One quote that I saw in the paper today mentioned that they didn't want people to go out panic buying fuel. However, that brings up the question of Why fucking announce their may be a shortage? People are stupid and if you tell them there may be a shortage of something, they're not going to remain calm and logical about it; they're going to be major fucking idiots and drain stations of fuel, or store of any food types that may be in shortage.
People definitely need to calm down about shortages. All you're doing when panic buying things is guaranteeing that there will definitely be a shortage of whatever. Calm down! Fuel will be fine if you're not all going out there and draining every station of fuel.
