This is just totally f***ed up!
I decided to check my e-mail just now, when I saw an e-mail from Causes about a man who had been charged with multiple counts of child rape. That's f***ed up, but the full story is even more f***ed up!
The story says that this man was released from jail on $1 bail. $1!? How could you let someone like that go for $1!?

A York County man charged with multiple counts of rape and sex crimes against children has been released on $1 bail because he was not brought to trial within the mandatory 180 days.
Evan David Smith, 39, was being held in York County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail since his arrest on Aug. 24. According to court records, he posted the $1 bail Friday after a bail hearing in York County court.
