Crazy Cabbie (Full Story)

Here is the FULL story from The Sun. It's amazing how fucking stupid some people are.

TWIN SHOT 11 TIME IN BEDROOM

THE West Cumbrian killing spree executed by cabbie Derrick Bird took place over 771 horrific minutes.

At some time after 12:45am on June 2 last year Bird went to the home of his twin brother David, 52, armed with a .22 rifle fitted with a silencer and a sawn-off shotgun.

He blasted David 11 times in his bedroom at the house in Lamplugh.

But the twin's semi-naked body was not found until 11am after he failed to turn up for work, an inquest in Workington, Cumbria, heard yesterday.

Here's how the rest of the dreadful day unfolded, with names of those who died in black capitals:

5:14am: Bird drives to home of family solicitor KEVIN COMMONS, 60, in Frizington and waits outside.

10am: Kevin, heading to work, finds drive blocked by Bird's Citroen Picasso taxi. Bird blasts Kevin's car with shotgun

Kevin leaps out and tries to run back to house but Bird gives chase and blasts him with rifle. He kills him with a second shot to the head from just 5 yards.

10:14am: Bird calls at friend and neighbour Neil Jacques in Rowrah to try to recover second shotgun he dropped off the previous night. Neil is out and is wife is unable to open gun cupboard. Bird leaves.

10:25am: He heads to Whitehaven.

10:27am: He pulls up at back of town centre taxi rank where he is based. Last car in line is that of cabbie DARREN REWCASTLE, 43, who is in nearby sandwich shop. Bird calls Darren over. As Darren bends to speak through the open passenger window Bird blasts him in the face with the shotgun. A second shot hits Darren in the abdomen.

10:28am: Bird drives a few yards up the road and shoots cabbie Donald Reid with the rifle, hitting him in the back. Bird gets out and follows Donald, who is trying to crawl to safety. Another driver yells at Bird: "What are you doing?" Bird gets back in his car and drives off.

10:30am: He goes round a one-way system that takes him back past the taxi rank. He fires the shotgun twice but hits no one. PC Mick Taylor flags down passing motorist Paul Goodwin, leaps in and gives chase.

10:31am: Bird stops when he sees another cabbie, Paul Wilson, walking in street. He calls Paul over. As Paul leans to talk through window he is blasted in the face by shotgun.

10:33am: Bird drives off but spots yet another taxi driver, Terry Kennedy, coming the other way, carrying passenger Emma Percival. Bird pulls up, smiles at Terry then blasts him with shotgun through open driver's window. Both Terry and Emma are badly hurt. Terry later has lower right arm amputated.

10:34am: Bird tries to do three-point turn but gets temporarily stuck. He ends up facing chasing police van and points gun at terrified PCs Leesa Edwards and James Fitch. They dive under dashboard. Bird speeds off.

10:48am: He heads toward Egremont and comes across Jacqueline Williamson walking her dog. He stops to ask for the time. She tells him and he drives off.

10:50am: In Egremont he spots secretary SUSAN HUGHES, 57, walking home from shops. He blasts mum of two twice with shotgun, gets out of car, turns her over and blasts her in head with rifle.

10:53am: He comes across ex-Sellafield security worker KENNETH FISHBURN, 71, walking on opposite pavement. He pulls across and kills him from close range with one blast to the head with shotgun.

10:57am: Bird sees another walker, Leslie Hunter. He stops and says: "Can I have a word with you, mate?" As Leslie bends down to speak Bird blasts him twice. But he survives.

10:58am: Bird leaves Egremont, heading south on A595. He drives into Thornhill estate where he sees Ashleigh Glaister, 15. He calls her over but she spots the shotgun and jumps out of the way as he opens up. Ashleigh flees as he misses with second shot.

11:02am: Bird drives on to country lanes. He pulls up alongside mole catcher ISAAC DIXON, 65, who is checking traps. He blasts dad of two twice.

11:07am: In village of Wilton, Bird parks on drive of Jason and Deborah Carey. Jason is on committee of Solway Sub-Aqua Club, of which Bird is member. He has had several run-ins with the committee over his use of a boat and diving practices. He sounds horn but Jason ignores it as he is in bed after night shift. By the time Deborah gets to the door Bird has driven off. He sees account worker JENNIFER JACKSON, 68. He shoots her in the chest with the shotgun and twice in the head with the rifle.

11:08am: By chance Bird comes across Jennifer's husband JAMES, 67. He is chatting to neighbour Christine Hunter-Hall. Bird fires shotgun from car, killing ex-ambulance chief James. He fires at Christine as her husband tries to drag her to safety. She is hit in back and lung collapses, but she survives. Bird drives back through village, past Jennifer's body, and rejoins A595.

11:18am: Bird enters Gosforth where he sees rugby league ace and farmer GARRY PURDHAM, 31, working on gate at entrance to field. Bird shoots dad of two in chest before driving toward Seascale.

11:25am: Estate agent JAMIE CLARK, 23, pulls up by side of road to make calls. A colleague tells him there has been a shooting in the area and to get to safety. But Bird pulls up alongside and blasts him in head.

11:27am: Bird continues toward Seascale, heading through tunnel under railway bridge. It is only wide enough for one car. Pub landlord Harry Berger is already most of the way through but Bird forces him to reverse.

As they cross Harry shouts and Bird replies by shooting him. Harry is badly hurt but survives.

11:28am: Bird drives along seafront, pulling up alongside cyclist MICHAEL PIKE, 64. He fires twice, killing retired Sellafield worker with second shot.

11:29am: He shoots JANE ROBINSON, 66, after calling her over as she delivers Betterware home catalogues. Tests show barrel of shotgun was touching her mouth when he pulls the trigger.

11:34am: Bird shoots Jacqueline Lewis in head in Drigg. She survives.

11:50am: In Eskdale Green Bird pulls up near pub and beckons holidaymaker Fiona Moretta. She thinks he wants directions and leans to talk to him. He shoots her in face with rifle.

11:52am: He fires at employees of Sims Travel in village of Boot, but misses. He fires at dog walker Christine Alty and her daughter but misses again.

11:54am: He drives slowly towards Reginald Miller, out walking with wife. Bird points rifle out of car window but does not fire.

11:55am: Pals Nathan Jones and Phillip Moore are fired at while walking near campsite. Nathan is hit in face.

11:57am: Craig Ross and girlfriend Samantha Chrystie are driving ahead of Bird. They stop so Samantha can take a photo. Bird catches up. He stops and asks Samantha: "Are you having a nice day?" He shoots her before she can reply. She suffers severe facial injuries. Bird orders Craig to drive off. As he does so, Bird blasts his car.

11:58am: Craig warns cyclists Phillip and Anne Lowe a gunman is on the loose. Bird appears and fires rifle, narrowly missing Phillip's head.

11:59am: Bird speeds along country lane, crashing into stone walls and oncoming vehicles. He bursts a tyre and abandons his taxi. Two families ask if he needs help. He warns them to steer clear. He heads off on foot into the woods with rifle, leaving shotgun behind. He has run out of cartridges.

1:36pm: Bird is found dead from a single gunshot wound. Tests show he knelt down, placed the barrel against his forehead and pulled the trigger.
