Ward 4 gained a new patient today, an elderly guy named Eric. Having him around so far has been quite a laugh but rather sad, too. He’s been talking to cats that don’t exist, calling out for someone named Fay (and calling her a bitch).
Not too long ago, it sounded like he was asking one of the nurses to whip him. I had to stifle the need to burst out laughing at that remark. That was way too funny to me.
Spoke to a nurse today about the 15th and 17th of October. It turns out I’ll be going to Treliske on the 15th to have the stitches removed from my foot and will then be returning to Bodmin Hospital. On the 17th of October, I’ll return to Treliske for a neurology appointment. It was rather odd because when I first arrived at Bodmin Hospital, I was told it would be a psychology appointment. So which is it? The appointment I knew I would have with Doctor Stewart at 9:00, or a psychology appointment? I’ll have to find out on the 15th while I’m at Treliske. It could be both, for all I know.
