I returned to Treliske today to have the stitches removed from my foot. It was a lot more painful than I was initially expecting. I was biting into a blanket the entire time that the nurse was removing them.
I couldn’t find out whether I had a neurology or psychology appointment on the 17th while I was there. However, I was told that Bodmin Hospital would have all the details in the paperwork sent from Treliske to Bodmin. So, I guess that means it’s definitely the neurology appointment. I need to contact my father now and let him know. Unfortunately, I cannot find his phone number. I think I may have left it in the shirt pocket of a pyjama shirt I was wearing yesterday. I’ll have to ask my mother for the number tomorrow when she comes to visit me in the hospital. I have to hope that she shows up now.
While at Treliske, I was told my next appointment concerning my broken ankle would be six weeks. Does this mean I have six more weeks of no pressure on my right foot and then six weeks of light pressure on the foot? Twelve more weeks of this stuff? Has my 14 weeks now turned into 16 weeks?
