Another new patient was brought into this ward last night, a guy named Andrew. Sadly, he’s missing his right foot. I decided to ask him about it today. He told me he’d stood on a nail and didn’t notice it for a while. Once he had noticed his foot had gone rather numb, he saw the nail. It was badly infected by that point. He ended up with no real choice but to have it amputated. Poor guy.
I’m currently growing more and more concerned that I’m going to be stuck in the hospital for a few more weeks. If so, how will I stop my friends Holly and Samie worrying about me? In this hospital, I have no access to the internet at all. There’s no way I can tell them I may not be online again until late December or early January (if I’m unlucky). Crap…
