Water bulls

I'm getting fucking tired of the water bills that I've been receiving lately. The first time I got a water bill for this apartment, I received a bill for like £650ish. Seriously? £650ish!? I live alone. How is that even a remotely fair bill? So, I showed my landlady the bill, and she said she'd sort it out for me. They told her they'd reduce it to about £250 since I'm just one person.

The next bill comes and...oh my God. £1,650ish!? You've got to be fucking kidding me! They were asking me to pay about £1,200ish of that by April. What the fuck. No way! I showed this NEW letter to my landlady, who also thinks this bill is fucking ridiculous. She said she'd call them and sort it out again. They apologised to her and said it was a mistake, that the two departments weren't communicating with each other. The new £250ish bill will arrive soon.

Now, I have the third bill (or should I say bull). The amount? £575. Are you fucking kidding me? It's not even for an entire year, either. They're charging me £575 from the 5th November 2013 - 1st April 2014. That's not even six months. Close, but not exactly. If it's £575 for six fucking months, then they're going to be charging me over £1,000 for a year! What the fuck...

To show you have fucking ridiculous this really is, I had a conversation with my father not too long ago about these bills. He told me that he only has to pay £13.50 a month. That's £162 per year. He lives alone in a two-story house. I'm sure he uses a hell of a lot more water than I do, so why am I being charged so fucking much? Even £250ish is more than what he pays annually, but ok. That kind of price I could deal with for a year. £1,000+ is NOT FUCKING FAIR! They need to take these fucking bills and shove them right up their asses. There's no way in hell I'm going to pay that fucking much for water. I'm not a fucking rich person, which they seem to think I am.

What I'd love to know is...how many others living alone in an apartment in the UK have to pay a fucking idiotic amount of cash for water? Am I alone in being charged an idiotic amount?
