Yesterday was a great day for some news around here.
While I was outside collecting some cash from people, I discovered that Sean may never return. He went up to Birmingham on Wednesday, and I honestly thought it was only going to be for a week or so. But I heard yesterday that he no longer has his job here. According to the rumour, he said that a person would not need his date of birth for some police check thing because he's not going to return.
The question now, though, is...what exactly did he mean by that if it's true? Does it mean he's moving away from this area, or does it mean something else? I'm hoping like hell that it means he's not coming back here ever. It'll be great for my family if he never returns.
In one way, the whole moving away thing scares me. The reason for that is because what if that entire thing involves Mom going with him to live elsewhere? I can't talk to Mom about it because she'll say she knows nothing about it and then will ask Sean about it, or she'll know something about it and deny it's true. I can't risk Mom asking or telling Sean I know about it because that'll get me and others into trouble.
I will have to wait it out and seriously hope he'll be gone for good.
