Alright, I'm back from my job interview. How did it go? I have no idea really. It's a really nice looking place though. The owner seems like an extremely nice woman. I got there 30 minutes too early, so I decided to wait out in the little hallway for 10 minutes, making it appear that I only turned up 20 minutes early. She seemed to appreciate that. I guess it shows her that I'll always been there on time or earlier to get working. If I get the job, I have to get there by 8:30 to start, and how long I remain there for the three days I have to do (if I get the job) really depends on how much of a mess there is.
The main downside to the job is that it's only a seasonal thing, and I'll only be needed to work during busy times; Summer holidays, Christmas holidays...you get the idea. So, I guess if I get it, I'll still have to look around for a more permanent job that'll be almost all year around so that I'm not stuck with several months of no cash.
Most of the interview wasn't even questions. Started out with just having to fill out an application form, which I couldn't fill out fully with references and stuff; like an idiot, I forgot to take that kind of information with me, and can't remember addresses and phone numbers off the top of my head. I'm sure that one thing isn't going to look too good in my favor. I did, however, explain that I've done similar jobs at other holiday sites, such as Treble B and Kilminorth Holiday Farm. I wonder if that'll help her overlook the fact that I couldn't put down any references.
Other than that, all she did was show me around the place and explained what it was I need to do (if I get the job).
