Back to the Future 4 - Not gonna happen

I've got to say I'm amazed. Because of the recent spree of remakes and sequels of old classics, I searched Google for Back to the Future 4. I just had to see if they were going to make a 4th. There are several pages saying there will not be a Back to the Future 4. That's not what amazed me though. One page I read, there were about 67 comments from people actually wanting a 4th movie, and maybe even a 5th, 6th, 7th and more. It made me wonder if I'm the only Back to the Future fan that doesn't, and hasn't ever wanted a 4th movie for the series. I'm more than happy with the trilogy that currently exists. It wrapped up perfectly (at least in my mind it did), and doesn't need any more sequels. Am I truly the only person who doesn't want to see anymore? Are there any other fans out there like me who would lose all faith in the movie industry if they touched this classic trilogy?

Why are directors lacking in original ideas anymore? It seems like all movies now are either remakes of classic movies, or sequels to classic movies that don't need sequels...or movies based on video games/novels/TV series. Where are the original ideas? Is it really that difficult to come up with an idea? It's amazing how there are a major lack of original movies. How many original movies have there been lately? I'm having a hard time thinking of any. Well, the Pixar movies are original, I think. If they aren't, then I've never heard of the novels/movies that WALL-E and all are made from. Can anyone tell me of any original movies lately? I'm not saying all the not-so-original movies are bad because movies like Harry Potter aren't bad at all. You definitely could not call them original though.

Just off the top of my head, here are a couple of movies that were remade or had unnecessary sequels.

Dawn of the Dead - The original 1978 version is a lot better than the 2004 remake. I definitely found it a lot more gory than it's remake.
Indiana Jones - This series didn't need anymore sequels. It should have ended with Last Crusade.
Terminator - I haven't seen the new one (Terminator Salvation), but I personally think the Terminator series should have ended with the classic Terminator 2:Judgement Day.
Final Destination - Apart from the 1st movie, I haven't liked a single one of these. I am, most likely, never going to watch the newer Final Destination movie (The Final Destination).

I can't think of any others right now, but there are plenty of movies out there that should've ended long ago or not been remade. However, I will admit that I have enjoyed some remakes, but most...ugh.
